as long as you're not tempted to use it first :D

What, and THEN sell it on ebay  There are some limits I go to in my quest to become debt free!!!!!

Have you started matched betting yet  Or at the very least done the virgin offer  Money being given away left right and centre.

  • oooh - i missed the virgin offer - what's that??

not matched betting yet - I thought the OH was up for it (ooh-er) but she's not (yet). I think I'll need to work out exactly how to do it and then prove it to her that there is no gambling involved and there is free money to be made.

sorry for being smutty - the wine made me do it :)

To read more about the virgin offer, go onto Southernscouser's diary thread and read the last few pages, then send him a pm and get in on the action. Alternatively pfpf on the referrers board also does this, and I went through him before SS was pimping his services, so can vouch for him too.

Fairly failsafe way of making about £100 and it is partner friendly so OH can do it too - money for old rope!

Get that PM sent to SS or pfpf right now!

if you're in the area, pop in and explain matched betting to us please

Good morning all - it is bank holiday Monday and (she whispers) it is sunny!!! So, what are we doing today, on a sunny bank holiday monday in August - yup the kids are skiing! All day, 9am til 4.30. And it continues all week!!

So, I am on my second "for goodness sake, wake up woman" coffee and will be packing up my laptop and various brainstorming books/diaries and some work, and will stay at the ski club all day, use their electricity and save petrol running around etc. I also need to do some real work, but can do that there, and have to take a couple of bits back to woolies to get refunded/changed from our school uniform trip a couple of days ago.

Then this evening we have the family meal out. Just hope that we can do it reasonably cheaply - OH did ring his mum but just said "money is a little tight this month" not saying "can we just pay for ourselves" so still all open to interpretation at the very least. Oh well, shouldn't resent it, it is FILs birthday and I don't want to sound mean etc etc.

So, apart from that I am going to be having a bingo bonanza for cashback day, I think! Who knows, I may get lucky, but if not, I still get cashback - even better!!!

    Hi hypno

Glad yesterday and today sound so nice for you. My yesterday was lovely too - tho I didn't do a scrap of gardening, I was on the computer and then went out to meet my friend. I really hope that meal goes well for you tonight. I think I'm going to look at a few more threads on here, then give my eyes a rest and really try to make sense of the bingo free money thing and quidco. And I *will* garden. I will, I promise myself I will. See ya (btw, do you ski? Obviously you can't right now, the way your neck is, but with all the skiing your kids do, I just wondered)......

Hi KC - your "I *Will" garden sounds like us - I have asked oh to cut the grass while I am out, but I asked him last week, and the week before and....and....:rotfl:

Oh yes I ski!! Love it with a passion. Sadly can't do any at the mo but hope to be able to again in the Winter just in case I can afford to go, although even more sadly I think it more likely I will send the children to train and school out in France, because it works out cheaper than all of us going and living out in holiday accommodation (am I making sense, no, probably not :o ).

In the past, my work Christmas bonuses paid for ski trips - I worked it all out to the penny - get paid on Dec 15th, balance of holiday due on 16th!! Of course, bonuses are now a thing of the past, so not quite so easy nowadays!!

Yep, it does make sense, don't worry! Must be hard to be at the ski centre but not taking part yourself - but here's hoping that now the lodger is arriving, your debt and the interest will be going down massively, and you'll be able to go yourself. Hope so.

Grr! I too am unimpressed that the £1 pasta has gone up, although it's still not bad value considering it lasts me two months! I'm sure quite a few things have crept up in price in Tesco recently, and my local one seems to have stopped stocking a lot of value stuff - 16p spaghetti was always a good standby but it seems to have vanished.. maybe just my useless little local store though!

Hope you have a lovely day Hypno... sunny here too and apart from packing up some eBay sales and doing daily clicks etc, I'm just going to chill out

Morning-and a beautiful morning it is too.
Done my nosying around online-caught up with forums and done my good deed for the day and now off to hit the garden before I talk myself out of it.
Race ya Karmacat-last one to start has to make the coffee (well you can't garden without a DFW coffee break in the middle somewhere ;) )
