Hiya! You *have* done lots, well done you, again. Inspired by your thing with quidco today, I finally logged back in to greasypalm, and my cashback experiment there has got me £9.87 - and I'm sure I've only paid out £1, one of those magazine things. So I think I'll be giving that a go over the weekend.

Otherwise, am shattered, but *have* bought my trainers, hallelujah, my feet ache nowadays where the holes in the previous trainers are, enough is enough. I was going to prune the plants around the path, but I can't be bothered. Some salad and a glass of wine is indicated, I think. Soda bread.... now there's a thought. Enjoy the evening.

I did the scarlet subscription - you get £9 cashback, but you buy 1 issue of the mag for £1, so net result £8 - obviously need to pay with a card so may not help you. I use a debit card, not a credit card.

I have just totted up that I have £117.47 in quidco, with another £20 expected to track over the weekend - not bad!!! Hopefully it will arrive in time for Christmas :j

That's pretty good going! I think I'm up to about £25 if the MBNA one goes through. Unfortunately I don't have a debit card either, although I must ask the bank.. I used to have one, then for some reason they sent me just a cashline card last time and I didn't bother questioning it as at that point I used to put most things on my credit cards. Oh how times change.. :D

Sounds like you've had a very productive day!

I have applied for the MBNA card too - they haven't rejected me, but they want to "discuss my application" over the phone :rotfl: I am sure they will say No, but I have applied to balance transfer my Egg card balance, so if I get it, it will be 0%, if I don't get it, well, it will be £8.50 added to quidco anyway! Almost a Win-Win situation!!

hope the feet feel better soon, KC x

Hi Taxi, I said I didn't want insurance either, so perhaps that is why they want to speak to me. I only want a balance of £1500 to transfer the egg card to, then I can concentrate on getting rid of it once and for all, but I don't hold out much hope and of course they are shut now until Tuesday so can't do anything about it now - have put it in my diary though to do on Tuesday.

We did our shop at Mr T's last night (got away with £35!!!!!) but the £1 for 3 kg pasta that we now buy has gone up to £1.49!!!!!

Seems as soon as you introduce me to something useful Hypno, it is taken away. I'd better not attack Quidco :(

:j Thanks Hypno!!! Was gonna have a MSE free night in front of the telly.... but decided to pop on and quickly catch up with everyones day...... because of reading ur thread, I applied for the RSPCA and Post Office CCs on quidco, and was accepted for both! £40.50 cash back, thank you very much!
Then I applied for the MBNA, but was rejected (ummmm 3 CC apps in 10 mins, think that might be why!?!) but still £8.50 :D

So today ur diary has earned me £49 :D :T :D

    Thanks!!!

Blimey Sarah, I should be on commission!!!

Glad to have helped - I only find out about all these bits and pieces by reading other threads on the boards - today I have "earned" around £85 one way or another - all from MSE - quidco and matched betting.

    I love this site :j
