:rotfl: made me smile!!! Have you seen the computeach £5 cashback on Quidco? Looks like you just need to fill in an enquiry form about a career in IT. Just filled it in so fingers crossed xMFW

I am working my way through the "quidco" thread on the freebies board - there is so much on there, so I thought I would do a few a day - that way I can combine my MSE usage with real earning money and something to show for it type thing!!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Really sorry to hear about Molly Hypno -we're a cat family here too-in fact I seem to have somehow agreed to having a 3rd one as soon as I get back from the US next week-eeek. MSE holiday of course-flights and hotel total under £300 for a 5 night trip.
Congratulations on the tutoring job too
First day at school isn't til the 12th-I think thankfully no uniform to contend with but he's probably outgrown anything remotely warm <sigh> GCSE year so need to buy a whip I thinkI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Blimy duchy, that sounds like a good trip - just don't get carried away with all the lovely shops over there!!
right - am still in my pjs and it is really time I got showered and dressed!!
I have just joined on a free trial through quidco (£4 cashback) audible.co.uk and you get 2 free download audio books. Have chosen my free books and will download them onto my ipod this afternoon! Some of my "bingo" cashback has tracked already from this morning so that is good too - all in all not a bad morning's work!!
I really need to start getting some stuff together for my new workshops that I have to present - no point in getting excited about tutoring if you have nothing to tutor about  So, when dressed, I am going to have another cup of coffee and will start brainstorming! "Confidence building" are the first two workshops I am doing, so need to be upbeat and motivating......def need more coffeeSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Oh hypno! I have a yeast allergy too. You have a breadmaker you use regularly and haven't been able to find a yeast-free recipe so *you* can have bread???? This is v bad news! You've broken my run of good news on mse now! Still, if its true, best give up, hey? I've started a thread on old style, so I'll see what turns up.
I like the style of what you're doing on quidco - I started that on greasypalm, did 3, and *did* remember to cancel them, I should go back to that, it was really successful.
Have a good day!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Just a quick question - for audible do you need to put in card details? xMFW

You have got me thinking now - I am sure I have got everything, but perhaps I am not as organised as I hope!
**hypno goes off to make "first day at school" lists**
Awww sorry hun.
Did you find anything you've missed?

KC, I'll let you into a little secret - the breadmaker makes cake too, and they don't use yeast
Spud, my DS is starting high school too. DD keeps telling him all the things he will need, so his list got quite long. Thankfully we managed to pare it down to the essentials for the moment!
ATB, yes I did need to put in my card details for Audible - if they try and take money though, they will be sorely disappointed!
Have just had a little  type moment, although not quite as strong as  , so perhaps not fair to describe it as such.
It is F-i-L's birthday on Monday and MIL just called to say that 2 of OH brothers and sisters are visiting with their various offspring, and that they have booked a table at Brewsters so the kids can play in the play area. OK, nice idea, but my two are too tall for the play area now, so not so good for us, and also, we can't afford to go. I also *know* that it will be one of these "we'll just split the bill 3 ways" so we pay more than our share.
So I have called OH and asked him to ring his Mum and say that we will go, but can we just pay for what we have - seems an awful thing to do, but we can barely afford to do that, yet alone pay for everyone else's indulgence. Also, it is about the only place in the world that I don't have any sort of BOGOF voucher for - typical.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
