Sorry to hear of the loss of your cat. Ours is 16 years old and we all dread that day, he is SO part of the family. I am glad that you know what happened to her though, friends cat they think wandered off to die in a private place and they never did know what happened to him. :grouphug:

Sorry to hear about your cat. It does sound like the man who found her was kind and thoughtful.

    Hope you're all coping OK.

Hi, hypno just been skimming through your thread - wow, a lot happens to you in 4 days!!

Congrats on the interviews! I was panicking for you when I read a PGCE and 2 jobs (as a PGCE veteran) until I read it wasn't full time, so hopefully not as pressured.

Sorry to hear about your cat :( but at least you have peace of mind knowing about their whereabouts and that they were treated kindly.

Coming out of lurkerdom to post in here but I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear about your cat. We had to have one of ours put to sleep last week and it's just heartbreaking when they go.

How lovely of the man that found her to give her a peaceful burial though. Pania's idea about leaving some flowers is great.

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat Hypno.

The man that found her sounds lovely though, and at least you know what happened.

Big hugs to you and the children :grouphug:

  • Nothing much to add to what others have already said. Just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you and the children at this truly sad time for you all.

I assume the lovely man who found her saw one of your leaflets to know where to find you, so your children should feel proud of themselves for producing them and at least finding out the answer to what happened and ending the unbearable waiting. How kind of him to call and tell you....bad news is always awful to deliver whatever the cause.

Congrats too on your job and PGCE. So full of admiration for your 'get-up-and-go'

    Big hugs to all

Thanks guys, and morning all! DD is very quiet this morning, but we have to buy school uniform etc today so hoping that it will act as a diversionary tactic.

Myself, well my head hurts because I have been spending the last 2 hours playing penny slots to get £20 cashback!! OMG the mind numbingness of it all, but hey, it will get me cashback in October or whenever, so have to stick with it - not finished yet though, reckon there is another half an hour of clicking to do yet!! Certainly won't be rushing to do the same for OH today, will leave that for another day - there is only so much my brain can cope with! At least it shows that there is no chance of me getting addicted to them!!

Just spoken to the college too - I have to go on Friday to apply and do my interview, although she says there shouldn't be any problem, given that I have been offered the tutor post and need to do the course.

Hope everyone has a good day xx

    Hi,

Hope the uniform shopping goes well.

What is the penny slots thing please? Admittedly I've never used a slot machine let alone one online, but every little helps :) It's amazing what I end up trying after seeing it on mse :o

    Have a good day.
