Hypno, you sound so organised with your notebooks and your new account - well done! :T

We are going to watch X Factor too - I'm just debating whether to open a bottle of wine.....:)

Oh yes, I think the wine is an absolute necessity IMHO :D

Wine it is then! How funny are some of these X Factor entrants - the trouble is, I always end up feeling so sorry for the no-hopers!

Awww so nice you had a cuddly moment with DD! I went to see my sister, brother in law & my two nieces today, I haven't seen them for ages and I had some cuddles with my nieces and they are all lovely & adorable. Those moments are priceless aren't they?

My two are quite "cuddly" so we are lucky enough to get plenty of those moments. I am making the most of it while it lasts, DD is a teenager now and may soon be at the "bovvered" stage

Right, really must put the laptop down and do some ironing.......in a minute!!

    Hi hypno
I was at the X Factor too - some of them are embarrassingly awful, but I was laughing out loud a lot of the time - especially at Louis coming back, I only heard earlier this week.

Bottle of wine -deffo, red, 2 glasses of. And right now, cooking is in my immediate future, except I have a sugar rush from eating a piece of M&S chocolate swiss roll too early in the day (well, I got up at 6am for some reason, its *late* for me)(but obviously still early for chocolate)!!

Cuddly adolescents - oh yeah, make the most of it. My partner has a 15 year old, and he *looks* like a thug, hoodie, little bits of face fuzz, etc. But if his dad's talking to me on the phone, he still yells out hello to me, he still asks me to sort his xbox out, tells me his daft school jokes, he's a lovely kid.

I am pleased to announce, that I did a load of ironing last night! I will not be defeated by the ironing monster - that evil being that multiplies piles of wrinkled clothing when my back is turned! I can take control :rotfl:

I have also made a whole £15 matched betting, but with another £80 cashback tracking which will likely come my way at the end of October, so not a bad weekend so far. This afternoon I am back in the recording studio - we are SOOOOOO close to being finished, it is now at the exciting stages, putting things together, fine tuning etc so hopefully that will all be up and running soon.

I also need to do a bit of paperwork today - I have loads of important stuff to do for the middle of the week, and if I don't make a start it may not get done.......a note is going in my diary right now!

Hope everyone else has a good/relaxing/productive (delete as appropriate) day xx

Hi KC :hello: never too early for a swiss roll!! I have not yet decided what dinner will be - I think some sort of chicken and bacon pasta thing, with spinach, mushrooms and peppers. I am vaguely aware of all those things being available in the cupboard, fridge etc so I can rustle something quick and easy up when we get home this evening. The recording studio is near to my Mum's house, so I am hoping the children can pop in there and say hello while I am working.

Lunch is likely to be toast - the plum jam I made last week is delish. I still have some blackberries left so may do a small batch of jam with those too. Sadly I eat very little bread because I have a yeast allergy but hot buttered toast and jam...........occasionally I can be tempted!!

hope you have a good one x
