Sounds good, kiddo! I absolutely have to eat lots of healthy things today (apart from swiss roll, of course) since my fridge has died - think I'm gonna buy a new one immediately, after I investigate changing the fuse, anyway. :rotfl:

The recording studio thing sounds good still - and how nice to be near your mum. :)

Interesting about the blackberries - I still haven't made it to the end of my garden to check out the blackberry situation up there, but yesterday I did pick some apples from the self-seeded (!) apple tree in my front garden. First time ever too - I'll chop them and cook them, I think - it doesn't get any anti-worm care from me, so the apples are probably riddled with worms etc, but the ones I've picked don't look too bad. :rotfl:

The apple tree has to be pruned, badly, as its hanging over my parking space and makes the house look derelict, and also the mini-trees on that side of the garden are damaging the retaining wall, so this year I'm making the most of the apples, as it may be the last chance that tree has to crop before it has to get pulled down.

Stuff inside the house that I have to do is incredibly boring, but I have to run an errand with my partner (and possibly buy a fridge, lol) and he always rewards me with tea and chocolate biscuits, so I'll stop then.

    Have a good one too.

    Hey, Lunar, no problems!

Good news about the bank charges coming your way - I had a court date for next week, but of course that has been put on hold pending the outcome of the test case. So near, yet so so far away!

Hope to see you around - as I said on Seaxwyn's thread, the support on these boards is really nothing short of amazing!

    Hi Hypno,
I think my level of debt is similar to yours, though it has been steady for the last x years hovering around this mark, unlike yours which has been plummeting! So I look to you for inspiration,:T . Like you I'm hoping to reduce my debts by £1K a month, this month however it's barely going to reduce by £350  This is really due to some shuffling, so some debt is overlapping slightly, and in September......

Well, OliveOyl, as long as it is reducing that is the main thing - you will get there.

Why not join me and Seaxwyn in the race to £35000?

Thanks for the invite Hypno. I'd love to join that challenge.

OH has pointed out though, that we're currently in a complete state of flux because of his iminent move overseas.....we are; as he says "not in a steady state". I'm not saying that our debt won't reduce, but that we might get a sudden lump sum repaying moving costs etc so our DFW journey will be lumpy. IYSWIM

    Off to update my sig.

Well it took me 3 days but last night I finally made it to the end of your diary:j (I have to admit to mainly reading your posts)

I've been joining in with the daily dfw threads for a while now and am always amazed by your signature (both the initial amount of debt but more so the amount you've paid off - it's amazing)

It's like some kind of novel that you just can't put down, every time something seemed to be going right something went wrong and you still battle on - so I just had to know what happened next!

I hope I'll be able to keep up with your diary now and wish you every bit of success with you debt free journey :money:

Blimey Yorkielass - 3 days of your life taken up with my diary!!!! I am indeed most flattered, and a little bit flabbergasted!!

Today I done a good amount of the admin I allocated myself to do, now off to have some lunch and then off to "work". Good news is that Mum is going to do roast beef for dinner so that will go down very nicely indeed :D

Will be back this evening - I hope everyone is having a good day x

Well on Thursday and Friday it was in between answering phone calls/emails at work (work at a uni and people were ringing up about their a-level results/places so couldn't do any other work as just kept getting interrupted so just had to go on mse wink.gif as I said it was worth the read though!

Hope the recording studio goes well - sounds really interesting, and have a lovely dinner at your mums, it's times like this I wish I didn't live 200 miles away from in laws and 250 miles away from my parents - no popping round for dinner here
