Morning all! After a bit of an uncomfortable night's sleep I have woken a bit stiff but generally ok. I feel as though I have done about a million sit ups, and my head feels as though it is too heavy for my head!!

However, it is discomfort rather than pain so I am sure it will subside in the next few days!

Because the first woman has admitted liability to the police and to her insurance company, we are hoping that it all gets sorted very quickly. I am expecting a replacement car this morning some time but have not yet heard when mine is being collected - it has been brought back to my house so it is looking very sorry for itself in the driveway!

Anyway, onwards and upwards - I obviously didn't get to do my mystery shop today so have asked if I can do it later in the week, and am waiting to hear. I have no plans really for today - don't feel like doing much at all so will just take it as it comes I think.

If the weather looks ok I may go for a walk just to try and "loosen up".

Hope everyone has a good day!

Do take it easy hypno. Even if not actually injured, you must be shocked, and your nana too. I hope it's all dealt with quickly and your car is fixed soon.

As Seaxwyn said, do take it easy. It can take a while for the bruising to come out fully.

I was about to ask if you wanted more info on what we've done to reduce car costs, but then saw your post yesterday, so thought timing was wrong. Send me a PM if you want the info, we've tried a lot of things so it will waffle on a bit and don't want to clog up the thread.

Hope the car gets sorted quickly.

Thanks you two. Se999, I will still have to get my costs down, so any help will be gratefully received!!

I am a bit cheesed off, because my car insurance is due to be renewed tomorrow so I was doing quotes through quidco to get it down.
Then because of the accident yesterday, speaking to our existing insurers, we just got caught up with things and ended up renewing with them to save any hassle with "have you had any claims in the last three years" with new insurers. So firstly I had to say bye bye to lovely quidco cashback (£42.50 for the best quote so far).

Then to really rub salt in the wounds, existing insurance say that because the blame has not yet been proved (even though she admitted it to the police) they have to count it as a "fault" claim not as "non-fault" so they put my premium up anyway!

They say I can write in when blame has been proved to try and get it reduced, but I am not happy that I have to do it! So, crap insurance day all round really.

Rant over. Off to put the kettle on .....
