I have taken it easy today but feel worse than I did yesterday! My head hurts and I can't get comfortable. I am desperate for the children to go to bed as I am in danger of shouting at them, even though they aren't being naughty!!!

I am such a grumpy ar*se today!! Still, I have done the mystery shop I should have done yesterday so that is something I suppose.

Off to put the kettle on - always the answer!!!

Thats classic whiplash that and so painful...I would pop to the Ae and get checked out...hope you feel better soon..

Thanks Taxi - I think I will make a hot water bottle and have an early night. Then will see how I am tomorrow, hopefully will be more comfortable but if I am not I will get it looked at. I tried to get to my surgery today but they can't see me until Monday!!

Hi Hypno, just read ur thread - OMG!!! Glad everyone is ok, and hope u get all the insurance issues sorted out. :mad: to them for getting u to pay extra, I'd definately look around once this is sorted and switch - just out of spite more than anything else! Hope ur enjoying ur replacement car too.

Why did my two's school fetes never have bargains like yours!

2 'no spend days' in a row here, so my economy drive is progressing. Going to have another read of the matched betting thread, it seems to get a bit clearer each time, but want to be certain I know what I'm doing before I give it a try.

Se999 - I employed the tactics of DFW supermarket shoppers - arrive at the fete at the last minute when they want to get rid of everything. All the children are shouting "anything on this table for 5p", and I am poised to take advantage :rotfl:

Well I'm an expert at finding the reduced section in supermarkets and timing my visits, not tried it at fetes and carboots yet, but obviously I'm missing some bargains.

Another 2 things for me to do today:

1 - clear my desk so that I can see what needs doing!!!!!!!
2 - stop making more action lists, and spend the time doing things on them instead

Se999 - I love your bit about stop making lists and start doing the things on the list instead. That is exactly what I have vowed to do today!! I will be going out into my cabin at 9am where I can get fully into "work" mode!

I have to produce my documents to the police station today, so will need to go into town, so am trying to think of all the things I can bundle together at the same time, so that I can save myself a journey or two later in the week! I was going to take DS to see Harry Potter on an Orange Wednesday today, but don't think I could manage sitting still in a cinema chair for 3 hours or so at the moment, so have had to disappoint him, and hope that we can do it next week instead.
