The 90 Day 3GB Three sims used to be about £10-12 on Amazon a few months ago but are £20 now! I beleive that's the same price that you can get them from Three shops direct.
If you need more dats EE 90 day 6GB sims are £29.99 from Argos.

Why on earth dont they tell people things are not going well?
Remember the Northern Rock collapse? That wasn't caused by the cashflow problem they had but caused by journalists like Robert Peston scaring all the savings customers in to withdrawing their money which caused a much bigger cashflow problem than the one they originally had.0 -
Hi,
What a shame, I loved Samba after discovering it on MSE over a year ago.
Does anyone know of another mobile data company similar to Samba?
If not, what is the cheapest PAYG service? I use GiffGaff for my mobile phone which is cheap, but I'm not sure what they are like for data only plans? Also, the 3 signal was much stronger than o2 in my area and when I went on holiday I couldn't get any o2 signal so I tethered from my iPad for data.
Contracts or PAYG deals where it needs to be used up within a month are no good to me. I mainly use my iPad on wifi and then use it on 3G once in a while so I need some sort of free or PAYG deal where my credit or deal will not expire after 30-90 days.

I hardly think Robert Peston can be blamed for the run on the bank. It was the very lack of retail deposits in the first place and heavy reliance on wholesale toxic bundled debt to finance it's lending instead that was it's downfall. If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0 -
I have over 22 GB with Samba but don't feel scared at all.
Samba and Ovivo has important differences.
Ovivo was one man band in practice. Samba on the other hand was funded with venture capital and is advised capable business brains.
With the business model of Ovivo, calls could be made without watching any ads. With Samba ads needs to be watched before earning any credit. So its revenue is 100% ad supported.
Company research pages show that finances of Samba Communications Limited is in good shape.

All of a sudden my Three 321 pay as you go SIM started allowing tethering to my iPad... maybe this is a solution to replace Samba for others too.0

No mention as to whether or not you can use your earned data.
Interesting to note that they are still negotiating with various data providers, so may well be back up and running with a new data provider for their ad streaming site (this was what was costing them the most to run). So Samba may well be back in the near future.Never Knowingly Understood.
