Another great victory got through without that blasted so called 'friend', Fergie!!!! Keep right on chalking them up!
Focus hard on the thrill you get each time and always remember them when you get further down the line.
You're doing wonderfully and you're sounding as proud as is possible, I really am proud for you and of you too! :grinheart
Keep hard at it.

Not a good day... another weepy one...put a white tissue thro washing machine with a black wash and ended up in tears......gee am I losing the plot completely now???????
So many times today I could have jumped in car and gone to shops and bought some cancer sticks, but I am glad to report i didnt.
Food aint helping me either today, have tried nibbling so much stuff lol but nothing is hitting the spot so have now opened the red wine and hope that tickles the tatebuds.
So pleased you are sounding so positive Fergie, keep it up and so pleased your OH has taken quitting on board too..you will both reap so many benefits spesh financially with both of you smoking.
I would like to say...on the positive side after my opening sentences..........my skin is looking so much better today, so much clearer and I am prone to a touch of acne on my back which i would say is quickly disappearing.......thats all good so trying to focus on that today when I have been finding it a tough day.0 -

You've got it, cheesytwist, always focus on the positives, they're so very important and will guide you through it all.
3 weeks & 4 days eh?!!!!! :T:T Keep plodding on cheesy and you'll soon be telling us you've got your first month done! I won't say more than that, but.......! :j
I'd have been in tears too if I saw all the mess that yet another darn tissue could make in a load of darks, I HATE them! Check the pockets first!
Be sooooo proud of yourself, cheesy, you've achieved so much already without a hitch. I'm feeling so happy for you and so proud of you, keep this up and you'll have plenty of heating through the winter!!! BTW, have a handful of almonds or walnuts to nibble on each day and don't forget fruit, it takes a while to peel and to eat.
Keep hard at it and let go of an tears, you'll benefit so much.

How about the Allen Carr book? When I heard of it I though I'd be blowed if a book could help stop me smoking. But it did. With this thread for support as well (cos that's really important). When I quit, I was smoking 40 a day (give or take) and had been a smoker for 26 years or so. I've smoked tailors, roll-ups, menthol - you name it.
Heres my stats (so proud!)
Nic Free 6 months, 3 weeks, 6 days
Amount saved £2089.77 (low cig price used, probably more)
Cigs not smoked 8320
Life Saved 4 weeks, 21 hours,20 mins
Apparently the most effective way is with the tablets but I didn't fancy those. Biggest benefits have to be the money saved, the clean and smokefree house and car, the disappearance of that awful cough all smokers have and the clean smell in the mouth.
If you want to do it, you can do it. There's plenty here on this thread to support you. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
