  • 53p reduction in the mortgage this month, ridiculous!
£25.73 from £co, if that is the Vanquis cashback i'm going to close it. It's proved i NEVER want credit EVER again. Just need to work hard now to make sure that's the case:eek:!

The weather up here has continued to be amazing and i've had more classes to do, so happy about that. Still haven't been paid, so i'll chase that up next week and chase up the secured loan position too.

326 days until the end of the IPA and it cannot come quickly enough - wishing my life away!

  • Secured loan down £357 or so from last month - hurray.
But not a lot else happening.
Just tried to open a basic current account with Lloyds online but it stopped and said they were having problems, so might go back and try again later.
Happy with the Co-op but there are times it would be nice to actually go into a real live bank! Think i have to be six years post BR to get a real current account again but the basic cash accounts are fine, cash card / debit card, internet banking and no fees, what's not to like!

    Right off to Lloyds again:D.

  • Dear diary, sorry i've not been writing, been really busy:o.

Mortgage down £9.27 for June, so that's huge!!
Not had time to do surveys but been doing night classes, so hopefully paid better. But will get back to them this weekend as it's all money for nothing:money:.
Another month of IPAs away too, so 10 to go, roll on single figures:j.
Car cost the best part of £700 to get through it's mot:eek: and it still needs tyres. Smallest child needs a wardrobe, so might venture to the charity shops at the weekend and see what i can find.
Will call secured loan next week as still not past the last settlement date for a new quote.
Tea and diary catch up required.

  • Still been very busy with classes, which is great as it keeps me away from biscuits!
First pay came through at £212, so not bad but about £85 of that was mileage and i get paid less than the HMRC rate by a lot, so doubtful if there is much real profit, however it is real dosh:j.

Haven't been to look for wardrobes, maybe tomorrow if they are open. Also need some work clothes for me, even just a couple of tops would do, might do that tomorrow to, am i procrastinating:D.

Seem to be extra broke this month, probably the cost of holiday club:(:(.

Right i'l check my emails and then get some decluttering done, maybe:rotfl:

  • Some clearing done, not that you'd notice:rotfl:and i've hoovered the sitting room and the bottom hall and the carpet that our kitchen table sits on (yuck). I am constantly resisting the temptation to lift these carpets but don't have the budget to replace with lino or sand the boards etc at the moment.

Have been thinking though that i do need to treat this house as my dream home and not the millstone that i hate sometimes, so i'm happier about living here:p and start to finish all the 'projects' that i've begun.

Mind you it is so hot what i really should be doing is watering the garden. There are areas of grass that now look dead as it's been sooooo hot - we're near the Artic Circle for goodness sake!! And underfoot it is like the Sahara, all dry and dusty. Even the dog is flat out!

  • Spent some time this w/e sorting out smallest child's new wardrobe and emptying crates of his big brother's old clothes. So now have a ton of Boden to ebay:j, however some of it is very worn, so will have to be careful to mention that in the listings.

Have also decided to have another go at the Newcastle diet, feeling really carp this morning, have been all through the heat wave. Actually going to try and get a Dr's appt as there is something wrong with one of my legs, actually scared it's a DVT, hoping it's just a sting or a bite:rotfl:

  • On antibiotics and off work:j:j!
So Newcastle diet on hold until i get the all clear.
Have to say though that in the hospital yesterday as we sat in the canteen (i had carrot & coriander soup :A) you could tell everyone's jobs by their size (scientific as you can confirm by the uniform) all doctors were stick thin, nurses were variable and the auxilury / cleaning staff were pretty big (i am so i can say that:p).
But it has been a shock and hopefully i can use that to get this sorted this time / again...

No money news, smallest child INSISTED he wore a pair of old Boden trousers to nursery today, so much for ebaying them:rotfl:
