Mortgage statement in, down £9.26 this month and there was no micro payment, nothing extra, so just a short month i suppose.
Haven't had time to do my OCD call to the secured loan, will try on Monday!

No free money, no surveys at payout, no ebaying done...
Night classes went okay, will get feedback soon enough:eek:, obviously more interested in being paid but that will probably be towards the end of June if i'm lucky:eek::eek:.

Smallest child got some clothes for his b'day last week from rellies that are not what i'd choose, so they will be ebay bound when i can summon up the interest. I will try, honest:D

  • Today's task is to try and analyse our spending diary into categories, as we try and stick to say £400 per month for food but there is never enough in the jar by the last shop of the month.
Wish me luck - will report back on the current budgets v actuals once i'm done:D.

  • Right, tesco & lidl - main shops are coming in on an average of £500 per month. There are five of us and we buy all sorts from Tesco, so there are some bits there that are non-food, the odd dvd, some books, clothes, home stuff and odds and ends for birthdays etc etc.
Costco is coming in at an average of £100 pm, so that is less than i'd thought. So really i just need to reallocate the jam jar cash accordingly.
The real problem is me, i pop into the local co-op on the way back from school for a 'treat' and am taking that money from my diesel change etc. MUST TRY HARDER:o.
Fuel isn't as bad as i thought either, must be all the coasting along in neutral:money:.

  • Oh it's soooo cold, i'll never have the motivation to shift some weight if it doesn't warm up:cool:.
Another boring day at work lies ahead and possibly a quick trip to costco for loo roll (hello Tilly!!).
Back later - still haven't phoned the secured loan call centre:eek:.

  • I think costco may have to wait, looks like it's going to pour down out there any minute!
I wonder if you should form a bulk buy consortium Tilly, we could (no, i trust you more) you could then op our mortgages with the saving?? Obviously your superwoman spreadsheet powers would help in the :money:world calculation!

Beanie have you managed to keep your weight down / off??

Finally phoned secured loan, balance down by £345.13 and settlement down by £336.84. Balance now under £17k and settlement should be the same next month:j:j.

Am currently at the very top of my target range.
Would really like to be right at the bottom of it.

    Good news on secured loan.

I need to set myself a mini challenge, so i am going to say 7lbs off by the end of this month as sadly i am over 15st AGAIN:mad::mad:.
This will of course start tomorrow :rotfl:but i AM serious, i feel so fat and sluggish and down right depressed by the undoing of all last summer's good work.
So get under 15st by the end of this month and hopefully the warmer :p weather will be here and i can really focus.

    Day zero 15st 4lb - there it's out there:eek:
Off to play with my sig now...
