Morning PwD, no idea if this will help you - we have a savings pot called Credit Card and every time we spend on a card, we transfer the monies from another pot. Fr example, food shopping, each week it goes on a card, I come home and transfer it from my Food savings pot and drop it into the CC pot. That way I know I always have enough money to pay the bill but it also keeps me very focussed n whether I can afford to us something. Maybe worth having a go if you are feeling a it wobbly perhaps.

Morning Tilly, i take it these are virtual pots and you work from a spreadsheet?
I have a cashflow s/sheet that i run for a calander year and try and work from that. To keep us straight we've taken out cash after payday and worked from physical jam jars. This works fine but means we end up using our debit cards for fuel when the best price is at a card only Asda type filling stations, so using a cc SHOULD be okay as we would have the cash / or leave that amount in the bank to cover the cc when it comes in.
All hypothetical as we will probably get rejected (and actually that would be fine!).Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Well still trying to snow here and still bitterly cold. Not great for the first real day of the school holidays.
Have to go into work later for a meeting, should have been less vain / paranoid and stuck with my original holiday days off but i'm letting the threat of cuts get to me. This needs to be worked on and i need to build up my confidence and put my family first:cool:.

Morning, well a load of fresh white snow this morning, aarrgghhh. Meant to be meeting a friend this lunchtime, so it'll be interesting if we can make it!
£25 from Vanquis tracked, no sign of the other £25 for DH's card, so i can feel an email coming on, no doubt i didn't read the T&Cs correctly but will try!
We both had calls last night from Vanquis to say we had been accepted and they ran through the scary APRs and of course asked if we'd like a £200 cash advance, i think not at 41.20%. Will find out the limits when the cards arrived, all quite shocking i think getting ccs this easily. They only asked our income, no questions at all about outgoings or depenants.Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Oh and the Vanquis card has arrived with a starting limit of £500 and a scarey poster showing when and how to get your limit up. So spend to 90% of your limit but no more, pay off and demonstrate you can manage your limit and in month 4 expect it to double:eek:
Tilly i will be following your advice and making sure i use my allocated fuel money and see how that goes.
