Thanks Tilly, it will be a super start to 2013 but actually it is a lot of work but that's fine she is a good contact to have:D.

Just called the secured loan people up and wow-ee the actual balance has gone from £19,056.09 to £18,708.31 and the settlement from £19,239.93 to £18,815.06. Now given that all i've paid was the old monthly amount of £416.41 and the Tilly tidy up of £9.93 it seems a big drop. I did move the SO date forward by a couple of weeks, but can't believe it's made such a difference.:j:j

Should be more canvassing money coming in this week and we both get paid early, but sometimes think that is more of a curse than a blessing!

Last two canvasing payments recieved of £177.69 and £104.85 net, sounded a lot better when they were gross:p, anyway will pay for the two new tyres i had to buy today, the Xmas tree and the new tumble dryer (through £co), well almost:eek:. Problem is our boiler has finally packed up, see i tempted fate by being pleased to be getting through the BR payments. Will contact the trustee and see what they suggest but have now bought logs and kindling and firelighters, real prob is no hot water. 'It'll be smelly this Christmas, smelly and cold...':rotfl:If you don't laugh you cry!

Morning, well thank God it's not been a white Christmas up here, otherwise i don't know what we'd have done with no heating and no hot water:eek:.
But surviving so far, please don't let that be tempting fate again!

The awful news is given i'd lost 3st i weighed myself this morning and i'm 14-8:mad::mad::mad:, well i suppose i have enjoyed my time off the diet but i need to get some of this lard back off. So today will be very low cal and we'll see what effect that has on the scales tomorrow. I NEED to get this weight off as i have no work trousers that are huge anymore!

Need to have a good play with the budget spreadsheets today and the cashflow for 2013. No quotes yet for a new boiler but what fun that will be for January:rotfl:.

Right better get the children dressed and their teeth brushed.

Hi PWD, I am joining you on the lifestyle change (alternatively known as eating less and moving more).

I feel as thugh I am waddling at the moment but I am hoping that's just in my head

Ahh i'm not alone with the needing to watch the intake then!!

Well have just paid our professional subscriptions online, total of £485:eek:, such value for a magazine a month, that goes in the recycling and the odd e-mail for expensive courses in London!!

The better news(?) is that the garage have just called to say they have fixed the leak in my car for £84+vat, so a good lot less than the £200 i had in my head!

Oh and the woodburner is on, i'd lost the feeling in my fingers, so have given in, £4.99 for a bag of logs that doesn't even last the day:eek:.
Now what i should be doing is walking the dog and lugging back any lonely wood i see:money:, sadly it's too wet, windy and cold to face that today (or probably any day!!).
