It's a new dawn, it's a new day and in two years i'll be feeling good...

Morning world, ohh my favourite day of the month, IPA paid:j, now only 16 payments to go:T.
Mortgage paid, secured loan paid and nursery paid, of course it'll now be the usual struggle to get to pay day but hey ho another step in the right direction:D.
Nursery fees go up from February by £25 per month, i suppose a £1 a day isn't much but i'll need to cut the food spend back a bit, should help the first goal.
Still 14-8 this morning but today's plan is to try and tidy the playroom, currently knee deep in lego, k'nex, etc. etc. Lots of storage boxes and shelves completely empty but floor completely full:eek:.Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Morning Polly
Happy New Year to you!
Sorry about your boiler, I hope it isn't too cold. Have you thought about bulk buying logs? We had a load delivered in September for £100 and we're about half way through them now, hopefully they'll last until the Spring as we're using them very sparingly.
Hope you get the tidying done, I can't face DS room at the moment!
Have a good day xx0 -
Happy New Year to you too Choo, that doesn't sound too bad for the logs. We can't really afford it as we've got about £500 worth of oil sitting in the tank but then again the £700 savings aren't going to replace the boiler! So we'll see, i think once we're back at work / school we'll use less.
It's been funny trying to get the smallest child to stand still in the shower, he's only ever had baths and ran through the showers at swimming!
The longer we can last then the more we can save towards a replacement and the better the options will be, maybe even switch to gas:eek:.Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Phoned secured loan company, so updated sig with the new figures. Finally feel that this is starting to drop, although such a long way to go. Roll on the end of the IPA and i can start to overpay it, well after we've updated the cars and clothes, shoes etc etc that are being totally outworn!
No boiler replacement figures recieved yet. So will call round a couple of firms next week. Thankfully it was quite mild today, even put some washing out to partially dry:money:, not bad for the 4th of Jan!!
Oh and went off list at Tesco and bought a 3 in 1 lego set that was reduced from £24 to £12. Should be recieving a huge lump of points from a survey that went on for weeks relating to lego, i think it'll equate to £110, but better wait and see :j.
Better not mention the 4 wispas for £1 and the cheesecake

:rotfl:
I had the same problem on Thurs - all my smart trousers were a little snug to say the least but it was ok as I have a pair of black culottes with an elasticated waist :rotfl:
Friday was better as the place I work is more relaxed so found my high waisted jeans (normally too big) and I was fine :rotfl:
Am hoping by next week I will be able to fit back in my clothes.
Also just wanted to say how well you are doing in dealing with everything - I have followed you for years but don't think I have posted before0 -
Thanks for that EE, i know i'm not alone with the weight thing at this time of year.
The number of women at work who were dieting in the run up to Christmas was incredible but then i suppose that means they can have a blow out and then still fit into their October sized clothes!
I will try on a pair of work trousers today and see how bad they feel (fingers crossed they do up:eek:). I still have a few days before i go back:rotfl:.
Nothing money wise to report, need to get DDs feet measured and needless to say the hockey gloves turned out to be a single glove, so need to get another one! Also need to get a mouthguard for her too. The dentist doesn't want to measure her for a proper one for a few more months as her teeth are dropping out at an incredible rate just now, not good for the tooth fairy's budget at all;).Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Monthly mortgage statement has appeared, net reduction £15.00, mainly due to the £13.82 Tilly ops:money:.
Have made a little op today of £3.82, which is the odd figures on the balance.
One bid on ebay and a couple of watchers, slowly slowly.
Oh tried on work trousers and they went on:j, they will be agony:eek: after a full day but that should help me get refocused:D.Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs
