You're obviously ignorant of the fact that there are a lot of well educated 16-17 year old's who want independence for their country.
Also, please type English in responses to my posts. One does not recognise "innit".

Well I'm English - albeit just a little South of Hadrians once magnificent structure - but I find it a bit ironic that a supposed true blooded Scotsman (with a handle of a Lord-not a Laird) is requesting a poster to respond in correct English":rotfl:

You can find it ironic if you wish, but please type English when replying to my posts. Thank you kind Sir/Madam.

I am not a Madam, and I have not (as yet) been knighted, I am not a sir either.
Mister will be fine [STRIKE]M'lord[/STRIKE] M'Laird!!
Would you object if someone responded in Scottish Gaelic?0 -
Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about this.
My neighbours house is at 90 degrees to mine, as it is round the corner. His car port is parallel to my back garden fence. This morning he put up a huge union jack, by attaching the pole with duct tape to the upright for the car port, which abuts my fence. The result is that we now have a huge union jack flying 6ft above our fence and over our garden, and the position means that it doesn't fly over his car port at all. This is disturbing the birds at our feeders, which is dreadful as this is the breeding season.
The irony is that the position of the flag and pole means that he can't even see it unless he is in his driveway!
I'm as patriotic as the next, but if I wanted a union jack flying over my garden I would put one up. But I would make sure it didn't affect my neighbours.
The man in question is an awkward so and so, therefore it would be no use having a quiet word with him.
Is there anything else I can do.
Yes. Buy a bird station, so that you can move it round your garden. Otherwise, move.0 -
