Don't you think that often the seller has put what the buyer wants to read in the listing - I would think that there is little chance of the shoes actually being the sellers, how do they wear out all these shoes at once?

Hello everyone...this is an interesting thread and I'm surprised how long it is, considering the topic. I managed to read through a few pages and found it interesting enough to have to post :)
Anyway, I'm one of these people occasionally buy some of these well worn shoes...I cruise around ebay and when I find something I like, I bid on it.
Having said this and based on some of the stuff I read on here, believe me when I say that I am very "embarrassed" about this fetish of mine and privacy, especially mine, is of utmost importance to me. I don't want anyone to know who I am and try to be as discrete as possible. I think I speak for a lot of the other "people like me" out there, who, aside from this lead very normal lives and do not this to get out in the open.

I read a lot of, why this & why that, etc, so I'm open to answering any questions you may have about this thing and satisfy some of the curiosities out there.

This thread was started as a genuine query, albeit along the the way it has afforded many MSE'rs some amusement, including myself.

I'd like to thank you for taking the time to share your feelings with us on what is a private and sensitive subject.:)

Q.2. Are you tempted to stalk your sellers? Please go to Q.3. if you have answered 'no'.

Why are people so obsessed that anyone with a foot fetish is going to 'stalk' them!!!

Since this thread came about I have been buying "well worn" shoes cheaply and selling them on ebay. It's not the greatest thing handling someone's manky shoes, but it's making me far more money than selling my old books/dvds, etc ever has!

If someone wants to get a kick out of worn shoes - perverted as it may seem to us *normal folk* - then let them. We all get our kicks one way or another.

Do you sell them alongside your other stuff, or have a separate account for the shoes?

Because you are selling an unlaundered item to someone who is using it for gratification - aren't you worried that one of them (who has your details) might want to 'meet' the wearer.

Don't get me wrong whatever floats their boat and pays your bills no probs, I am just too chicken.

It was bad enough selling new underwear and getting requests to wear them and send them unlaundered (straight to the blocked bidders list).

Thanks! It is private & sensitive and no one I know "in real life" knows about my fetish, and I plan on keeping in that way ;)

LOL, you're right, many sellers do exactly that. Week in & week out they have several well worn pairs, sometimes even different sizes so obviously they are getting them from thrift shops etc. as we all know a good well worn pair takes a long time to "make", lol, but some buyers don't seem to care.
I very seldom buy shoes off ebay (I have a few ladies I buy from in private :D ) but won't hesitate when something of interest comes along that is from a genuine owner.
