Hello everyone...this is an interesting thread and I'm surprised how long it is, considering the topic. I managed to read through a few pages and found it interesting enough to have to post :)
Anyway, I'm one of these people occasionally buy some of these well worn shoes...I cruise around ebay and when I find something I like, I bid on it.
Having said this and based on some of the stuff I read on here, believe me when I say that I am very "embarrassed" about this fetish of mine and privacy, especially mine, is of utmost importance to me. I don't want anyone to know who I am and try to be as discrete as possible. I think I speak for a lot of the other "people like me" out there, who, aside from this lead very normal lives and do not this to get out in the open.

I read a lot of, why this & why that, etc, so I'm open to answering any questions you may have about this thing and satisfy some of the curiosities out there.

    OK,

Q.1. What do you do with the shoes?

Q.2. Are you tempted to stalk your sellers? Please go to Q.3. if you have answered 'no'.

Q.3. Would you like to buy some smelly trainers or shoes?

    The patena and aroma?? presumably.

Do you return them if they don't fit?

FloFLo - in response to your questions:
Q1 - I smell them and keep the ones I like, toss the ones I don't
Q2 - lol, no way. Remember I have privacy I want to protect too. If you are wiling to sell well worn shoes, then I'm willing to buy them provided they meet my criteria.
Q3 - not into trainers, sorry, but I do like well worn dress shoes and sandals

MissG - I can't speak for everyone, but I personaly like the scent of a well worn pair of dress shoes (heels, pumps, etc) especially if worn with hose. I also like a nice foot print, where I can make out the toes, heel, etc.

    Whats your criteria?

My criteria would be dress shoes that are still being worn (vs laying in a closet for years), worn very often with hose to work, well worn, scented of course. Nice foot prints. Stewardess shoes are the ultimate, lol.
    I think that's a good start

About the shoes? I already went over that, the smell, wear, etc.
Why? Not sure, I just do. It's a fetish. There are all kinds of fetishes out there, with people getting into some strange stuff...why do they do it? It's one of those things I can't really explain.
