If you can't contact the person you're trading with through email, you can request this person's contact information (name, city, and telephone number) directly from eBay.

To request a person’s contact information:
Click the “Advanced Search” link, located under the Search button in the top right corner of most eBay pages.

Under the Members section on the left side of the page, click the “Find Contact Information” link and follow the instructions.

The information you request will be sent via email to your registered eBay email address. This information can only be used in accordance with eBay's Privacy Policy.

Note: The user whose information you are requesting will also receive your contact information.

pollyskettle ( i am assuming you're a woman) if you have very big feet and well worn shoes as well, i think you are sitting on a goldmine: you will get the shoes fetishists competing with the cross-dressers and sending the bids sky high!
    :rotfl: good luck to you

lol - I could have the markets covered here - the cross dressers can have the shoes I've bought and never worn (don't ask me the logic - I've simply learned not to fight it!) and the shoe fetishists can have my well worns....

    Next time this year, Rodney..................

now what i need to know, before i start doing this too, is: (silkysmooth69, li'l-p)

has anyone who sold their old shoes had any problems with the buyer afterwards? (no offence r0adpig,if you're reading)

cos i was thinking, if you only take paypal, they don't need to know your address, but if you take other llike cheque, p.o. etc, the buyer has to have your address - has anyone had any grief from this, honestly?

In a nuthshell, no. I have dealt with some of the nicest ebayers since I started selling my well worn shoes, far nicer people than I have ever dealt with since I started selling on ebay. The people that buy these things are honestly only interested in the shoes!

Yes, I've had some weird and wonderful requests, but I just politely refuse anything I'm not comfortable with. I have had to start drawing the line at sending pics wearing the shoes. It was getting a bit tedious as I seemed to be spending more time sending pics and yet getting no bids in return, however I am happy with the profits I am reaping - £31 for a pair of high heels - they weren't even that worn!

That's exactly right. I think it's safe to say that we are more embarrassed about buying these shoes then you all are selling them. I mean I can picture some of you discussing with friends/coworkers that you made a killing selling a well worn pair of shoes, but I would NEVER discuss to anyone that I buy them ;)

yes it was hard to see inside them. i was asked to (and did) supply a pic of the outer soles though. why is this important r0adpig?
( i know ladies shoes are your thing, but you are the only wellwornshoe lover i've got to ask:D )

what would your likes and dislikes be on a 'me' page?

thanks for sharing with us r0adpig. do you have any idea where your interest came from or when it started? just curious:)

    LOL, rls1973...no I'm not offended ;)

Let me get to some of these questions here, I've been idle for a while. I presume he asked for a pic of the outer sole because an insole shot was not possible and he wanted to proof that they were indeed well worn.

As for the "me" page. Put whatever you are comfortable with. It's a great way to provide additional information about yourself that you can't in the auction, since it may get pulled (although I have noticed that you all get away with more in the UK vs. the US). I like to see a few pics of the feet/legs. Perhaps a close-up of the toes, stuff like that.

No clue where my interest came from....I've been into this one way or another since I was very young.

Not read the whole thread, but I have a man, who, after spotting me bidding on "large" bras, asked me did I have any "well worn" large bras to sell!
