I did find what you said quite provoking. I am completely open minded, in fact the level of liberalism I argue drives some of my friends and family to distraction.
What I do know without a shadow of doubt is I do have a relationship where if either me or my partner were unhappy with a decision we had made we could go back to the table and revisit and recompromise.
So, if your partner wanted to 'revisit' the rule that he cannot watch !!!!!!, what would be your compromise, just out of interest?
I've read the latter part of this thread with interest. My friends and I have often giggled about weirdy !!!!!! we've found in our respective boyfriends/girlfriends/wives/husbands internet history. The only time I've encountered one partner telling the other partner not to use it is in desperate posts on internet forums (usually the poster complaining that their other half agreed to stop watching it, yet has been found to still be watching it. I guess old habits die hard).0 -
This came up on a Google search for how many men watch !!!!!!:

that's a hard one! Sometimes he watches it, especially if I am away for a couple of days. The whole discussion got really out of hand and my views got distorted - there was never a discussion that involved me and a stick telling him what he can and can't do.
After many years of being single he was addicted to !!!!!! and it was damaging our relationship that he was waiting until I went to sleep to go off and watch !!!!!!. He was neglecting our mutual sex life to meet this need which was damaging to our relationshipDF as at 30/12/16

I also think you might be confusing control and morals/ethics. It is not controlling to expect complete respect within a relationship and a portion of society believe that !!!!!! violates that respect. You disagree, but that doesn't make the opposite opinion invalid or crazy (or serve people right for marriages failing.)
(As an aside, along moral/ethical lines, people can be anti-!!!!!! for objective reasons, such as exploitation of children and young people in general. It's the same as people who enjoy burgers refusing to eat at McDonalds and people boycotting GAP due to the sweat trade etc.)
No I honestly dont get it!!
Its control, end of. If one person wants to do it and the other doesnt want them to, then they need to compromise. Its not illegal (illegal !!!!!! is a different matter entitrely), it may be 'wrong' in some peoples eyes, but that doesnt make it WRONG full stop.
As I said before, if that is cheating, where does it end? perhaps some people should keep their husbands in a box under the bed?
Make a big deal out of something and men will just find a way to hide it. Pointless.0 -

Honestly, at first I agreed with MK that telling an adult not to watch !!!!!! was controlling, but when it is actually having a detrimental affect on a couples sex life I can completely understand not wanting your partner to use it.
Perhaps maybe along the way of the debate the idea of 'not wanting your partner to watch !!!!!! because it is evil and adulterous' has been confused with 'not wanting your partner to watch !!!!!! constantly instead of spending time with/having a sex life with you'.0 -

thank you oh thank you oh wise one! So many assumptions have been made since the digression of this thread! So if you don't watch !!!!!! you have a low sex drive, if you think fidelity means not watching !!!!!! you are controlling, if you watch !!!!!! you are sexually deviant! Jeez guys so provoking and uncalled for especially seeing as most people are arguing for doing what's right to them and letting others live how they want to!DF as at 30/12/16

Lunar eclipse, im sorry I can't quote your post I'm on my phone.
Being anti !!!!!! for ethical reasons is not the same as being anti mcdonalds - it would be the equivalent of being anti-burgers because you disagree with McDonalds, or being anti jumpers because you disagree with gap, or being anti coffee because of Starbucks. There is such a thing as fairtrade !!!!!! :-)0
