Debs, I agree 100% - until we got *real* Amazon sellers on board we just had the vague idea that we knew what we were doing. These threads have been so much more useful since the pros came to give us a hand and I know that I speak for every one of us.....
Thank you SO much Amazombie, funkyfunkymonkey and rare_stuff, you are all wonderful and we REALLY appreciate you being here0 -

Hello again all,
I've been debating for a while whether to buy a load of books off priority.
Out of interest, how many of these books are actually sell-able? For example, how many out of th 30ish in a box are actually good sellers etc? Also what are the condition of the books?
Cheers!
EDIT - how do i get to the amazon forums!?
I've been wondering the same as they are only just down the road from me. Any thoughts anyone?0 -

Right,
I have just done a little analysis of Priority Books, this is useful for me too actually:
I purchased 25 boxes at £125 on 3rd April.
That works out to £5 per box (£4 a box if you collect).
Average of 30 books per box, which makes them 16p per book.
I have listed 20 boxes so far so that is a potential of 600 books.
However, out of the 600 potential books, the number that were listable were 280. That is almost 50% that were listable on amazon and/or play.
Out of the 280 listed I have sold (to date) 47 on amazon and 10 on play. The prices ranged from 1p to £20.
The books that are listed range from 1p to £89 (keeping my fingers crossed for that one to sell).
So there you have it, hope that helps.
