HELLO AGAIN!
Quick question, can i go to amazon.COM, and list items there, as normal, and then receive the funds in pounds in my account?
Thanks0 -
Hello again
The short answer is no.
The long answer is you can if you have an american bank account/address, but I understand that it is not very easy to set up.

I have just received a bulk lot of books from priority books who sell fruit boxes of books to amazon sellers ( aswell as individually on amazon themselves) and I am VERY pleased with my lot, after the first crate of over 35 books 8 are non-sellers and the rest vary from 10p to £10, obviously nothing has sold so i cant say if the value for money is there yet, but the quality is to a high standard.
I will keep you updated to the success of this but I am impressed and pleased so far !!

Hi Mishka and all!
I am also a customer of Priority books and I can also confirm that these pallets are a good buy. Myself and a friend split a pallet of 50 fruit boxes, which gave us 25 boxes each (£125 each), works out about 10-20p per book.
I purchased them about 6 weeks ago and I have already made double my money back, and I haven't finished listing them all yet. My friend has made about 3 times his money back (because he has listed all of his books).
So in conclusion, I would definitely recommend Priority books if you have the space for them, I shall definitely buy another pallet once the first are listed.

Hi all,
Well done kat ! Thats impressive, i went halves with another book seller who is near ish me who I hadnt met before, she drove down and got us 9 fruit boxes each which including petrol cost me £50 (for around 300 books)
I listed around 30 last night and sold my first one today !! which would be great if it wasnt a 1p book
WILF i will try and get a link to the thread where chris was 'advertising' on the amazon board, but right now my 2 little ones are climbing all over me and i cannot think straight let alone type !

Wrong?
You?
.....
You also need an american phone number and the shipping fees you would receive for selling on .com would be at the american domestic rate and you would have to send via airmail.Do You Twitter?

hi,
just a quickie - someone i know was talking the other day about how he goes to car boot sales and buys loads of books and then sells them on the internet. he said he made over £20K last year. I don't know him well enough to ask anymore but i just wondered if any of you thought this was possible and if so then how?
£20K would come in very handy at the mo, lol!0 -

Based on my own experiences I would say this is achievable if you have a very good source of books, space to store them and time to list/pack/post them.
However, there is a very big BUTT coming, this would not be easy and would be hard work. The sourcing of your books is the key - you need to sell alot of books to make £20k - unless you happen across some very rare stuff.
Think I'm in one of those moods :rotfl:
