Got very fed up with multiple identical listings from big sellers so emailed the details to sentinel at Amazon at the end of March for about a dozen. As far as I can see, they are all still there hogging away. Its the first time I'd done that so not sure how long it normally takes for Amazon to react or if they even do? Anyone else got any experience?
On the plus side sold a book today for £28.99 :j :j sadly though it wasn't one of mine - am selling it for someone else so will get a percentage - better than nothing.:D0 -

well done on the sale!
As for 'page-hogging' sentinel usually do take action on these, though it appears to be less of a visibility problem now, as when you click the see new & used copies from the product page the list showing is of 'all' which shows both new & used in price order from cheapest to most expensive. When a seller has more than 1 listing amazon only show the cheapest copy on this screen. Though I have noticed this is not always the case, but in most cases it means there is no advantage to multiple listings anymore, even if conditions & prices are different.
Typical of amazon to implement something but only randomly apply it though! Probably means something isn't working when multiple listings by same seller show when selecting the 'All' tab!Do You Twitter?

My 3 months of half price pro membership is up to day. My last month saw 29 sales, so I've covered my half price membership each time, but I hve been 1 away from the 30 I need to save money on the full membership rates.
I'm going to stick with it though for the convenience as see how it goes. If my sales drop off then I'll have a rethink in a couple of months.

I have only just noticed (yeah - I am a bit slow!) that although I have nearly 900 books listed now my zshops listing on has 65 books in it ... I understood - maybe wrongly - that all books not just those not in the catalogue are listed in zshops alongside the marketplace listings? At least that is what is says when you choose the categories when you list the book.
Any ideas please?0 -

I had something similar to this, i listed a book by grabbing the isbn number off a google/amazon search, without checking the actual ISBN of the book i had, and the one i listed was collectable, whereas the one i had was generic. I emailed the buyer asap and offered a refund or reduced price, and they asked for a refund, which was no problem. I was most impressed to receive a 5 star feedback from them tho, which made up for the non-sale!"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0 -

Zshops have been screwed since Wednesday, this is being heavily discussed on the amazon boards at the moment.
All your items will be available under the product page, just not visible on your store front. The only impact being reported is of those sellers that rely on directing traffic to their store front or who regularly generate multiple sales and repeat customers from having a highly organised store front.
On .com amazon have announced, and possibly already closed the zshop feature and it is expected that the same will happen on .co.uk in the near future.
This lack of visibility, or flaw, of displaying zshop items is a recurring one and it doesn't seem to impact sales. Though interestingly items that are being displayed in zshops are often products offered by other sellers, often in different countries. Again thisflaw has happened before and been sorted within a few days, or upto a week after it has been reported.
Also, zshops don't update info in real time, items added to your listings don't usually show in zshops for a day or 2 anyway, and they can often display items that recently sold, though these can not be purchased as clicking on the link will show the sale has closed.Do You Twitter?

Rupert is right, I've only got 1 book for sale in my z shop but I have 3923 books in my open listings.
So, don't worry buyers can still buy your books, just not browse your shop.
Mind you, this is a pain because I have a few regular customers who tend to browse my shop for books that they may want.
