    in my experience both.

Crafty bidders will try and hide good books underneath or behind others and will also try and consolidate them into one lot.

Floor staff are aware of this behavior and the people most often seen doing this and they will attempt to rectify this by moving hidden books into other lots, replacing books in correct lots and generally having a bit of a minor shuffle if similair lots are from the same source.

Great, so basically it's a lucky dip all round.

I'm getting addicted to selling on Amazon! It's a real buzz getting that SDN email (not such a buzz traipsing off to the PO tho).

Will have to buy some more books - it's all a bit of a gamble tho' isn't it? A couple that I have thought will be worth a bit more than I paid are going for a penny! Any tips on buying to sell that haven't already been mentioned? I'm not looking at going into it in a big way, just trying to raise a bit of extra dosh:D

By the way, is anyone else too embarrassed to list isbn numbers down in charity shops etc - I'm worried staff might get suspicious lol!:rotfl:

This is limited to pro-sellers, but if you are one you will find the link on your sellers page "Create a new listing"

    Hi Cooltrikerchick,

    If you go here: http://www.bookfinder.com/

and pop in the ISBN using the advanced search options then it will find 3 entires for you. It looks as though it is a fairly rare book if there are only 3 listed on the internet at the moment!

Then just choose a price you feel comfy with whilst keeping the others in mind.

    Good luck

  • As there is only 3 copies for sale worldwide I'd go high, maybe even higher than the others, a buyer might only look at Amazon and there will just be yours on offer, he might not even see the cheaper ones...
