Hi, i wondered whether you experts could check out a book for me. I have put the isbn no. in and it hasn't resulted in anything. However, when i search with the title, it gives three results but none of them with the same isbn, all with varying prices. The book is 'ATLAS OF MARITIME HISTORY' and the isbn is 0861242068. Is says printed in hong kong. Reprinted 1988.

    Many thanks

LOL thanks teapot - I can rest easy in my bed now. I've trained my cat to do all sorts of stuff but I would have been wide eyed with admiration if you could have trained that! 24.gif

I do like Amazon's customer services. I just emailed them again asking what to do about my book where the buyer wants me to make sure I am sending the Selwyn book. They have told me to wait 3 days and if I don't hear back, to let them know and they will try the buyer for me.

Just wondering whether I'm underselling my books a bit - unless they're absolutely pristine I've been classing them as used - acceptable. I know Amazon gives you guidelines on classing them, but I didn't find it terribly helpful. For example, if a copy has light creasing down the spine but is fine inside I would only put acceptable. How cautious is everyone else when describing books? Think I'd rather err on the side of caution and let the buyer get a pleasant surprise than have comeback because they were dissatisfied. But I've only got a couple of books with a good rating!

    What d'yall think:D
