Forum Upgrade

Just a quick note to everyone. We're going to do our best to get things sorted today. But let me say something m'techie chaps won't say themselves.

MSE Neil and MSE Daniel did the upgrade from 10.30pm to 5.50am this morning - so that we could keep the forum open for users in the max possible time. You'll note MSE Neil is already stoically back on here this morning trying to help out - and they've done a great job. This is a massive forum, with lots of specific tweaks, so upgrading it is alsways going to involve some ticks and turns.

The above feedback is fab and really needed, thank you, but thought I'd let you know we've got a couple of sleepy, but very dedicated chaps doing it

Thanks for all your hard work MSEs Neil, Daniel and all the other unnamed techies.

Since the upgrade, viewing via Safari v2.0.4, many of the site graphic links won't load or time out, e.g., "report post", "quick reply to this message". There's a blue question mark block instead.

Yes there was a chat button because I always used it to get back to the forum rather than pressing the back button x amount of times.

And I am still missing the go to last post icon and if I scroll up and look at forexample tunesurfers post then I get a little red cross and Old in a square where there should be a little icon

yeah i miss that too - cant see how you get there without going through new posts atm

by the way boys - I reckon the boss can afford a wee bonus for all these extra hours :j
