Last night we performed an upgrade of the forums. We believe it was successful but time will tell. If you experience any peculiar bugs please can you post them in this thread. We will be monitoring the forums over the next few days for bugs.

Well, it's nice and fast now as I'm about to finish work and nobody else is awake and using the forum.
One day after the upgrade would be a good time to check stats and server tuning and see if the optimal settings have changed.

Search is hitting "Cannot find server or DNS Error" errors. If it's just slow you might try LOAD INDEX INTO CACHE for the search index.
If that doesn't work because of differing block sizes in the index, copying the index file to /dev/nul can help, though not as much.
Both work by doing fast sequential reads instead of the very random reads you get from normal queries.0 -

I was just trying to get back to say that sra, everything I do it times out.
Couldn't get into this thread from the "front" page or it times out, had to come into the board and then into the thread.

searches not working, if i click on find more posts by someone :8080 gets added int the line for some reason. if u delete the :8080 the page will display
