Ahhh, I had a tenant like that once, drove me crazy, she once withheld rent because there was a small plant growing out of the back garden wall which she said was a safety hazard as it could cause the wall to fall on her! :/
I went round as soon as possible with a pair of scissors to cut it off, but it had already died lol. Nuisance tenants can be very stressful though and I do feel for you, I think in one month this one had us about about 10 times over trival things, but we just thought best to get them seen to asap (no one likes unhappy tenants) but it got so bad we had to tell her of non-emergency matters it would take 7 days to repair, not the 24 hour she was getting much too used to!! Felt like we where at the end of chain!

Or you could just accept that that you shouldn't call people with mental health issues "a lunatic"?

Nope. I'm happy with the term I used, thanks. Some of you folks appear to be getting a bit lightheaded up there on your high horses. Save your righteous indignation for something that's worthy of your attention, whydontcha?

I vote we all make a list of our top ten of Non-PC words (but not just swearing). Then some can get it off their chests, and others can enjoy naughtily typing them into a forum while people try not to get irked.

Lets devise a scale of offence.

Most offensive being Klu-Klux-Klan scale of out of order.
Mid offence being Alf Garnett scale of vintage unacceptables.
Lower offensish nestling at Victor Meldrew, such as cretin.

    Does tone come into it?
    And context?
Should we check with everyone that they wont be offended before typing/speaking/joking?

What are the rules on !n!i!g!g!e!r?
Is it alright if you have a gangsta avatar and claim roots in Africa via the Bronx USA and call everyone !n!i!g!g!e!r that regularly clicks "thanks" on your posts?

What about the word "gay" that used to mean happy and carefree, then it meant to be drawn to same sex personages, now used widely by people to mean something is not so hot?
So, "Oh god, your brown cardigan with puppies on it is soooo gay"
Or, "No mum, you can't save money by giving me some gay haircut at home"
And, "Urgh, no way am I getting in your gay fail Suzuki-X90"

Where do we draw the line?

Would B&T have got away with it, if they had added dancing smiley emoticons?
What if her screename had been "CheekyMaverick"?

Shall we all meet up this weekend and lynch Frankie Boyle?

Will I get prosecuted for using electronic communications for attempting to solicit or incite crimes against a ginger comedian?

    Is ginger now offensive?

I love red hair, but someone could take offence at me pointing out Frankie has got a bit of ging going on and add their own connotations to my toneless description?

I am not sure what words are allowed, but the boys have all voted and you need to prove your girlyhood by showing everyone your assets.

<--- wonders if lewd suggestions could get me in trouble.

I am a female, so is my comment more or less lewd because I am just mucking around, or would it be sexual harrassment if a bloke did it? Or am I about to get banned?

I hope the OP comes back and fills us in.

I once got my AOL account deactivated until I apologised to an American called Lance for a double entendre borrowed from Mrs Slocombe when I asked another forum user if she stroked her !p!u!s!s!y.

He said "You used suggestive language"
I said "Have you checked your name recently? Are you going to turn me on?"

I have to say I just love reading some of these threads - the way they can veer off on a complete tangent is hilarious. Some of the posters should be comedians, I have been sitting here chuckling. Reminds me of a place I used to work - if there had been a phsyciatrist (have i spelt that right?) hiding behind the counter i am fairly sure we would have all been sectioned immediately - ooh am i allowed to say that ???

I wish the OP luck in sorting out the problem with her tenant :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

On a saddo music forum I loiter on, once the regular posters realise that you're not a bloke there is a cry of "PUT 'EM ON THE GLASS!" in unison.

One of the laydees on the West Coast of the US did precisely that. If I had her assets I would have done it, too. Webcams should really only be in the hands of people who know what they're doing. And never, ever include their faces, just in case.

Lurker: you're hilarious. Please hang around more often. Ta.
