Hi! I right click on the link and click on 'open in new tab'. Is this the same?:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Well our street party was a total washout, rained very very heavily during the night and steadily all day.
Neighbours who were determined we should still celebrate opened their house to everyone. Instead of a BBQ we cooked the food at home and took it to theirs along with salads etc. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I thought it was wonderful of the neighbour to open their home about 40/50 adults and children.
Great to hear you are pleased with your dress Becks.
Actually had a WEM yesterday to say I had won tickets to a production of Sword in the Stone which will be lovely.Be Lucky Everyone0 -
That was nice of your neighbours bishopsgirl
there is no jubilee parties around us. In fact, the neighbouring streets have had a power cut the at few hours.
Decided to go to mams instead of roller skating as son is feeling rough after football tournament yesterday. We were reminiscing about years ago so it was nice
Dreams, sounds like you've had a great weekend so far! Your dd sounds really confident driving about
It's a bit cold here now so gonna put heating on a while.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Sounds like you had a lovely day out yesterday Dreams - my kind of day.
Shame you had rain Bishopsgirl. There are hardly any parties in Scotland and that is where the best weather is at the moment which is a shame. Our town is absolutely mobbed by holiday makers just now.
Not cold enough for the heating here Wingo thank goodness but not great for June. Been planting more of my home grown flowers but my back is starting to complain. Think I have far too many anyway but hate not planting them! All confused here with DD at school tomorrow and then off on Tuesday and DS officially starting work tomorrow (although he has done loads of hours since Friday anyway)Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

It's rained all day here, we have our heating on too wingo (OH hasn't noticed yet hee hee) He'd say "put another layer on" but I hate having my arms covered indoors.
The cake turned out okay, made a boo boo with the icing though. The instructions said to use the rest of the soured cream but I forgot that I bought a larger pot than the recipe needed so it was too runny to use properly, I just had to drizzle some over the top. Never mind, it still tastes okay.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Hope everyone has had a good day.
Cake sounds nice Sue. I will have to let you share my piece around as don't want the dress altering again after these few alterations :rotfl:
Have to start doing my sit ups again
Bank hols are annoying for us compers. Esp with the extra one Tuesday. No post and probably no companies at work sending WEMs. Hopefully we will all get a few treats on Wednesday.
The Glamour Winners List should be up weds too. I hope I get at least one prize after doing every day bar one£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -

Cake sounds lovely Sue - DD made us some Butterfly Fairy Cakes which are good too! (Only had one)
Looking forward to seeing the Glamour list too. Was having a look at IWIW and GeorgeBee won the same prize as me (lip gloss and nail varnish) and she got hers on 19th and I got mine on 30th! Looks like they are really coming quite randomly.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

I have my fire lite tonight as it has got a bit cooler. Didn't go driving today as cooler, lots arranged for during the week.
My DD and DGD stayed later tonight as they now have own transport home. My DD has had the laptop all day so I am only getting back on it now. So much for catching up on my comping. Not to worry on holidays this week so will get caught up sometime.
I am also looking forward to see who won with Glamour on Wednesday.
My DGD helped me make a chocolate flan. Used Philadephia Chocolate cheese and cream and decorated with grated white cooking chocolate. Microwaved some white chocolate to mix with the chocolate and cream and slightly overdone it, still tasted lovely. The DGD's made sure it was all finished before going home.
Does anyone here do Blogs? I want to start blogging but not entirely sure how I go about it. Set up a blogging account today but will have to work out how it works.
