Off up to the North East first thing tomorrow to stay with mum for a few days. She is 86 tomorrow.

Will have very little or even no internet access.

Hope you have a nice visit to your mums bishopsgirl. I hate having no internet - don't think it will be long before I refuse to stay anywhere that doesn't have it! My parents only stay a mile away so it is handy - my 2 sisters live even nearer. Hope you return to some nice wins. Wish your mum a Happy Birthday from us.

Wine costs a fortune to drink in hotels now Becks. I usually only have one glass if I go out. Been looking up our hotel reviews for next week and someone said it was £9 for a large glass of wine! Will be taking a bottle with us to have in room for the 1st night but as everything else will be free we will just need to pay up and look happy.

Bishopsgirl enjoy seeing your mum I hope she has a lovely birthday.

My mum decided to ring just before i was leaving for the bus to work so had to meet her and my nan but she drove me to work so was ok I wasn't late

Am going to do a few more comps tonight. Feel better that i have managed to get some proper comping done this week as had barely done much in last couple of weeks.

Becks, on our wedding we just sent round whiskey, brandy and rum for toast and the rest was up to the guests to buy! It can be expensive!

Sheils, the £17 turned into £34! Apparently we needed a bit extra this and a bit extra that!

Thanks for all your Birthday wishes for mum I will be sure to pass them on.

Mum lives in the same house I grew up in wingo just outside Bishop Auckland. I must admit I often think it would be great for all us regulars in the INN to meet sometime. If my numbers come up on the euromillions tonight I'll arrange something:D.
