Where's the sun gone to....is that it for anther year?
Gonna take kids to gymnastics then park after with dog. If the sun comes back out I might even go roller skating!

Feeling cold here this morning but at least we aren't supposed to get any rain.
Glad you are pleased with your dress Becks.
Going to have a lazy day and get some comps done I hope. No-one is doing anything today so should be quiet here until afternoon.
Hope your work passes quickly Becks - was in a local Tesco yesterday and it was full of holiday makers wandering about aimlessly looking for things and getting in the way of peeps who just wanted to shop as quickly as possible!

Morning all, rained heavily here for most of the night, so at least the water butts are full again, yay! It stayed fine for the air show yesterday so that was a blessing for them.

Glad the dress is okay Becks, that must be a worry off your mind. Just try not to get too stressed and lose a lot of weight between now and the big day.

I might make a blueberry and raspberry cake this morning, if I don't the soured cream will be out of date. I'm always doing that, getting all enthusiastic about a recipe, getting everything in and then not doing it.

Does anyone else resent Bank Holidays when there's no post and little chance of WEMs?

Mmmm - cake sounds lovely Sue! Don't like bank holidays either but it is nice for peeps who get the time off. Not many seem to these days mind you or have to work another day instead. I used to work 3 days in a bank and on a bank holiday had to go in on a Tues instead of a Monday which I hated especially as it was twice as busy.

Hi Everyone,
Had a lovely day yesterday. Went to a few Jubilee celebrations with my DD and 2 DGD. The weather was good and the DGD loved all the bouncey castles and games, took plenty of photos. Decided to go to the seaside, by the time we got there ( my DD driving there for 1st time) the weather had got cooler. Didn't stop the DGD jumping into the water (I was cold watching them). Had a picnic and let the DGD play in the park. Had a gorgeous tea on way home (stopped at an award winning Take Away). I drove back home.
wingobins hold on for me and I will grab my roller skates too!
Sue I agree with you re: Bank Holidays, it's lovely being off work but awful because there's no post.
I haven't entered many comps the last few days will have to catch up.
Becks everthing seems to be coming together for your wedding. It must be very exciting for you.
Saving Jane and Sue good luck with all your baking. I bought a few baking items in the last few days, thinking of making a banofee pie or some sort of pie still thinking of making it will have to do something soon.
Sheils you really enjoy your walking. I would need to start serious walking again. Hope you get loads of comping done today.
