Hi,not sure re Safari but in FF I just drag the URL link to a new tab.
Do you always drag and drop the URL or are there some comps/sites where you want the site to know where you come from?
I ask because I know an easier way to hide the referrer without having to drag and drop but it's more useful if you always want to hide where you've come from, iyswim?2019 Wins

I shall share anyway.
This only works in FF.
Type "about:config: in the address bar (without the speech marks). Click "I'll be careful, I promise". It won't break your browser, honest!
Search for "network.http.sendRefererHeader" in the search at the top. Right click the number in the "value" field, click "modify" and set it to 0 (default is 2).
What this means is that whenever you click a link, no refer info will be sent to the website you're going to so it saves time dragging and dropping (but if it's a habit, you might still do it anyway lol).2019 Wins

I just right click the link and go to 'open link in new window'
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
You can also "middle" click a link to open it in a new tab.
On laptop trackpads, middle click tends to be both left and right buttons together. I use an external mouse with my laptop because my left mouse button is screwed and it annoyed me when I tried to middle click that it bought the menu up instead of actually middle clicking! :rotfl: 2019 Wins

No problem. Glad to help.
It's very handy and saves the trouble of having to right click etc.
