Are you sure that you're actually Logged In? If you did this post in Firefox you obviously are, but thought I'd ask just in case.

Only recently the Bauer group started publicising their new policy on the use of entrants' Cookies.

As I understand it - they have the abilty to trace which sites an entrant may have visited prior to entering any of their competitions.

If they were concerned about a relatively small number of entrants getting their answers from Marina's (now ceased) site then they are likely to be hopping mad about the thousands who currently obtain them from M.S.E.

haven't seen anything on MSE yet regarding any complaints posting the mag answers on here yet though as i mentioned earlier on a posting i should imagine they would contact admin as it's not 'our' site.

i dont know if its just me thinking this but im thinking that the mag comps may remove the online entry route before too long and just have it postal only

I don't think it will be long either, probably just keep the entry form and phone entry (51p per entry)

I do still text my entry in sometimes. But I do feel that email entries get priority over text/postal entries probably because it's quicker for the mag to pick the winners. Same with other mags too that have started using text entry method (such as girl talk & MOTD), most of the winners are from email entry.

hi wingo, well, if the mags decide after all the conflab with the banana's site closing due to posting mag answers/getting traffic to the sites using mag answers & if they approach MSE/Loquax/ other comp sites to stop it there won't be any email entrys anyway, it'll be like the old days with just EF/text entries :rotfl:
