I do miss filling in all the comp EF's and posting them off. I admit to becoming 'lazy' with them now although don't enter as often as I used to since coming on here.
Maybe they won't ban them on mse cos they know this site is the best!

I don't really blame them.
I do occassionally feel guilty about entering magazine competitions etc. (not enough to stop though) because those competitions are really people who actually buy the magazines, and their chances of winning are significantly reduced by sites like this.

Only recently the Bauer group started publicising their new policy on the use of entrants' Cookies.

As I understand it - they have the abilty to trace which sites an entrant may have visited prior to entering any of their competitions.

If they were concerned about a relatively small number of entrants getting their answers from Marina's (now ceased) site then they are likely to be hopping mad about the thousands who currently obtain them from M.S.E.

This is because of a recent change in the law

Is anyone else finding that on the Look, Wotv etc comps, they don't have any marketing questions to go through like normal?

they must be accepting the entries though 'cause i reentered one & it told me i'd just entered it

Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times before, but how can you hide it so that the site running the competition doesn't know that you come from MSE? Do you cut and paste the link into a new window, or manually type it in yourself. Or does it make no difference if you just click the links? I use Safari on a Mac if that makes any difference.
