Just had a load of vouchers taken off my shopping. CO told me to hand over all my points mailing vouchers said he would scan them all to see what went through. Had 390 back in points :)

Only thing is I have no more points now :(

surfsister do you walk up to CS and ask to be reimbursed without buying the products, or did you buy them, either way I think you are braver I daren't do that around here as they would say use them another time.

I used the book voucher today that was refused yesterday, I was begining to think it was on elastic but I used it today !!!

I'm pretty excited. I haven't been able to get to my local tesco so been going to Asda(which I admit is a far bit cheaper than Tesco) any I have just discovered a Tesco express will be opening up yards away from my work place so I can pick up a few bits on my way home (bread, milke etc)
My question is are Tesco's Express mega choosy with vouchers?
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

    2014 £44.00:mad:2013 £83.00 2012 £601.50
    2011 £1554.50 2010 £698.00 2009 £2793.00
    2008 £2816.00 2007 £1034.00
  • I have just got a few mystery shopping jobs so will get to travel slightly further affield whilst supermarket shopping so will be able to use a few vouchers and not worry about being recognised.

My local tesco express has self-scanners installed so if I buy lunch then I tend to slip one through the machine.

I was reading a trade sector journal today and it was saying that the price of milk at Tescos is going up shortly, due to increased production costs. I buy 36 pints a week and sometimes think it would be a better idea to buy a cow !

Its a joke what farmers are paid for milk, I know as Im a relief milker. Approx 15-16p a litre is what the farmer gets. The supermarkets are the ones who make all the profit.

A lot of people are going out of dairy farming because of the low price - its just not viable, if it carries on this way soon milk will have to be imported.

Its a sorry state of affairs when thet happens :(

EDIT: Im not having a dig at you welshy but the supermarkets.
  • the price of milk has already gone up in my local from 1.11 for 4 pts semi skimmed to 1.15:eek:
