Farmers who produce organic milk will be paid a little more for their milk, I dont know exactly how much as the organic farm I miled at gave up a few years ago.0 -
Thanks marymilkmaid. I did not phrase my question very well I wanted to know if milk sold to be delivered on milk floats in bottles got a better price for the farmer than if they sold it to supermarkets. Do you know? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

My OH was in Tesco last night and was told that they no longer accept their competitors coupons (Sainsburys, Asda etc) they will accept manufacturer and internet coupons though.......Just as well she took 4 seperate Mail book tokens without them even batting an eye lid:beer:0

The farmer signs a contract to get xx amount per litre for the milk produced. So it doesnt matter where you get it from the farmer gets the same price:)
The exception is if you buy from a farmers market or a farm which bottles it own milk & has its own milk round then more would go to the farmer0 -

I have to make observations eg were the staff friendly etc and then I type up my report. I am not going to make a fortune from it but if I have to get say £6 of shopping then get reimbursed it makes it a worthwhile task. Rather than go into details feel free to PM me.
I cannot remember when the quit packs came out it feels like forever

Hi Welshy,
I agree with you. Although mystery shopping will not make you a fortune it does help towards the shopping bill at the end of the week. As for the quit packs if I remember rightly it was the 2nd January (new years resolutions etc). We won't need any more smelly stuff for at least the next 18 months!!!

I did a small shop this morning and was told there is a clamp down on coupon usage and no longer could they accept internet prints, the only internet one I had was for a pedigree jumbone and I bought that, they still wouldn't accept it, so told them to void it off. Lovelly girl on the CO said they were all being monitored regarding them accepting coupons.
Will wait and see what I can get away with tomorrow on my big shop:grinheart I've caught it - The TESCO bug!!:grinheartTesco points have paid for Florida holiday this year'Kids now have 'womblitis':rotfl:I :heart2: MSE£2 savings 2008 = £46Quidco £244.95 PAID 2007 - £54.62 received to dateKids Finders keepers jar £5.99 -since 26/5/070 -

After not being able to use many at all this week at my 'work' Tesco I managed quite a few at my 'home' Tesco tonight with a weekend student. I think there is one of the general clampdowns at the moment, they happen periodically then everything goes back to normal. I think I will try to do a few weekend shops with students and lay off mid week shopping for a couple of weeks.
Don't forget to get your easter eggs this weekend on BOGOF, and with lots of lovely book coupons of course. :T0 -

I was reading a trade sector journal today and it was saying that the price of milk at Tescos is going up shortly, due to increased production costs. I buy 36 pints a week and sometimes think it would be a better idea to buy a cow !

I pay 89p for 4 pints at my local shop.........Isnt it ridiculous what the supermarkets charge.........never mind ridiculous...its indecent.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

I pay £1.15 for semi skimmed in my Extra store, yet the smaller store only charges £1.12
