  • Hello, my mother has gone away today so last night I got given 4 oranges, 6 apples, 2 bananas, 2 bags of potatoes and 6 yoghurts. Also a tub of hot chocolate which i assured her would still be in date when she got back, she's only gone for 2 weeks lol.
My lad wants to join in because he got a free coffee the other day and was very impressed.

What a lovely thread :). I've been doing a fair bit of giving away on freecycle recently but I did get given a couple of boxes of weetabix from my mum.

Two lovely friends gave me a dozen whopping great eggs from their hens. Had one for my lunch, it was a beautiful rich yellow and tasted so creamy, it was delicious :D
My DNeighbour gave me a much-appreciated cuppa
My little muttley, who's quite poorly atm, gave me a paw and a lovely cuddle as if to say 'thank you for looking after me' :)
  • OH has just brought me in a lovely bunch of sweet peas from the garden.

He also bought me the first crochet made easy magazine this morning......

I haven't been given anything today but did give away a pine TV cabinet - we put it outside our front gate with a sign on it saying "Free - please help yourself" - it was gone 5 minutes later. One less thing for us to move in a few weeks:)
