We went to visit my parents and they gave me loads of vegetables from their allotment.

I have spent time this weekend preparing the vegetables for the freezer, they should keep us going for ages.:D

The family down the road over catered for their Eid celebrations and gave us enough curries to last us for 2 days meals for all 5 of us!

    It was lovely.:D
  • Today my neighbour will finish renovating our parquet flooring. He's done it in his spare time and won't accept payment. It seems all the times I've repaired his kids school uniform, take his jeans up and made a fancy dress costume for them has paid off. How said neighbourly behaviour was dead?!

I got given a STAR award at work last week - they are nominations from colleagues so means a lot to have that recognition (and the cash reward too!)

wow - you're so clever! I really wish I could knit or crochet but I can never get the tension right :(

I might take up sewing again esp if my sis in law pop out a girl for the next one (due feb 2013), then I can make lots of dolls clothes and handbags for (potential) niece!

Got given some almond milk to try and I like it more than the hazelnut and hopefully it will agree with me unlike the soya ones!
