My lovely neighbour gave me an accounts book. I've been promising to get one for ages to do my household accounts (but a bit scared to find out the 'orrible truth) and she found one when she was clearing out a cupboard. Now I have no excuse
. I gave her a paint tray and some strawberries from the garden

Ooh and I forgot last week an old school feiend's daughters from Martinique came to stay with me and they gave me some delicious banana jam, banana rum punch and some Caribbean spices. Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

It's one of those big ELC wooden ones, with all the furniture :j They wouldn't take anything for it either, i took them a bottle of wine and some hm cake round though.
DD2 is thrilled with it, she keeps making the little dolls talk and kiss each other lol. Now her and DS fight over who plays with it :rotfl: And i want to play with it too, i've always wanted a dolls houseI'm going to get some wallpaper and floors for it lol
We've only lived here for 6 weeks, lovely lovely neighbours
K xx
That's brilliant!
And I've been inspired, I'm planning a toy clear out soon, to get rid of some baby toys. One of which is a vtech activity tree, given by my neighbour. I'm going to pass it on to my other neighbour, as they have a grand baby that comes to stay sometimes. Will be nice to have some baby toys without spending a fortune when they'll only be played with once a flood...Bossymoo

A tent.
My eldest went to a festival a week ago and, despite the fact that he is going to another in a week's time, decided not to bother bringing his tent back.
(I'm sure I wasn't that thick at that age!)0 -

You would be gobsmacked at how many folk leave their tents/gear at festivals.I'm not that way reclined
Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!0 -
I am so forgetful!
On Friday I was given a load of Rhubarb from my friend's allotment after we went for a walk and I was also given a mobile phone I found but it is a very peculiar story involving Russians and the theme tune to Mission Impossible which I won't bore you with - anyway I ended up handing it to the Police but I will claim it if it's not collected and give it to the Scout Shop.
I made a lovely crumble with the rhubarb and some mouldering apples yesterday. Here dead we lie because we did not choose

I have been given a few baby things recently, including a mobile for the cot and a baby names book
I am always giving away things to my friend for her charity car boots, it helps me to de-clutter and it helps her to raise money
And I have promised my friend some of my horse's outgrown rugs for the old mare she has rescued0 -
Today, someone gave me hope.
I shall find out tomorrow if it's false, of course, but in the mean time, I'll enjoy it:j0
