Dont be so hard on yourself! You're doing really well but its going to take time! Remember it take time to accrue debt & time to get rid of it (the latter usually being slower than the former!!). Did you like the save Karyn book? I read it all last weekend & loved it but felt it was highly edited in some places!! Now on amazon, hoping to make a profit! You just keep up the good work & just think - payday tomorrow!!

Thanks ff - I am very hard on myself:o Its just that I feel so stupid for getting myself into this mess. At work I am in control of achieving a v.big profit and controlling a large cost fund and I am rigid with it but at home:eek:

Never mind today is payday and that means more CC payments:T About to up date my signature.

Yes I did love the save karyn book. I re read bits all the time. She reminds me of me. Same spending habits!!

    Have a great day

We're all stupid for getting ourselves into debt but we've learned the lesson (then fallen off, relearned it & on it will go!!) but try & look at the positives...how much you've paid off, change in spendng habits, increased organisational skills etc will all make huge differences to your daily life and all good things! Hope you had a good day paying stuff off!! Could also relate to Karyns spending - blind panic on some occasions with me...most of it now on bay!! £22 for sandals, thats good! I made 99p last week!!

    Hi ff
no your not a thread killer:D

Have been really busy with work, catching up after DD was in hospital for a week. She was in hospital for 6 weeks last sept and now this time for another thing. She's nineteen and never even been to the doctors until all this bless her. Needless to say the moneysaving has gone by the by a little bit. However not too bad.
Anyway I'm back on the wagon now and counting the days until payday 13 to go!!

Hope that you are ok. Will read all the bits I've missed tonight and catch up with everyone's news.

    Morning

    Tasks for today include:

Sort stuff for a car boot (possibly this week or next)
Make a list of uniform DD2 needs for school next september (then source the cheapest)
Do a food menu plan for the next 12 days(until payday)
    Clean the BBQ
Spend no money and dont think about debt mountain:D

Have a good moneysaving day everyone

    Hi ff.
She's doing fine. Going back to work in about 4 weeks. Its a funny thing with kids I've never been the worrying motherly type however these last 10 months have changed that a little. With her anyway.
Are you going on holiday soon? If so I hope that you have a fantastic time.

Plans for today include, make sure that I've not missed any car boot stuff, spend no money and watch the football with OH.

Have a great day all DFW's

Well spent £2 last night on hospital parking as DD2 broke something again (the second time in 8 weeks) whilst watching the football - not playing it this time. Got home really late so no car boot today. Never mind will try again next week. I'm going to use car boot proceeds to pay for new uniform and school shoes for new term.
Plans for today include catch up with paperwork personal and work and spend no money.
