Awww:grouphug: dotty thank you so much. I read your thread all the time and I am amazed at how you cope with everything.

I'm feeling positive at the moment, although at times and I know that you feel this too, it is very hard. Never mind. This board and the people on it are here to keep us all motivated and feeling positive.:T
I never fail to feel amazed that a thing like receiving a £1 coupon through the post makes me happy. Before it used to be a trip to New York!!

Right decided to make a list of things I want to get done in the next two weeks:

Sort all DD's clothes - my clothes
List all my books on Amazon as they are cluttering up the place
Start a grocery challenge - if the OS forum will have me back:D
    Start a spending diary
Actually do a car boot sale
    Lose 7lbs:eek:
    Do all the ironing
    Paint all downstairs

Hi pf! Alas back in work mid mon am after a trip to the dentist! Ugh!! Have slept a bit but feel a bit blugh...as always lovely to be back home with puss cats who are pleased to see me! Sure you'll have a fabby cheap hol - we did! Much changed from prev hols where I went mad with tat just got the essentials this time!! Even trips were "sourced" for the cheapest (ranging from 23 for tompson trips to £6 for the ones we booked!) & still had great fun regerdless! The break has also done the world of good for taking a step back & redressing the balance in my life which is always hard to do in the mundaness of every day life! When do you go on hol?

  • Hi ff

Me and OH try to always buy petrol at Tesco - OH does a lot of miles. I also buy have the shopping there. We average £40-£60 every mailing (3 monthly I think) we then turn these into deals for treats.(£10 voucher = £40 deals) This month we are using some of the vouchers for a night in a hotel and free dry cleaning:D Have used them before to pay for half of a new kitchen, free car hire abroad for a week, free parking at Heathrow. I love Tesco deals:T

Yes ebay is slow at the moment. I'm hoping that the car boot won't be!!
