I agree ebay is pants at the mo - if nobody wanted to bid £5 on a pair of LK Bennett shoes then I'm destined to keep them:j
impressive clubcard haul pf!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Didn't make the car boot:mad: overslept. Never mind I've sold 3 items on Ebay today so another £12.01 into the bank also used Quidco for the first time last week so there is £32 being tracked in that account.
Back to work tomorrow and really not looking forward to it.
Have a good DFW week everyone.

Morning all
Busy week at work and not much going on. Been sticking to my menu planner and trying not to spend any money.
Egg loan has reduced by another £200 and its payday this week so another £300+ coming off the cc's.
Received £17 for another recycled phone and £5.50 in coupons through the post this week.
It's seemed like a long week due to going back to work and the last week before payday but never mind.
best wishes everyone

Set up payments to cc's for tomorrow as I am at work early. Updated balances. CC's now under £9k.:T Should be on for a bonus this year at work which means that cc and egg loan debt will be sub £20K by January. (fingers crossed). It's hard to keep motivated sometimes but I really really want this and the prize at the end will be worth it.

Just have to focus on the feeling of freedom we'll have at the end - not to mention SPARE dosh!! How fab will that be eh!! Keep up the good work, you're doing really well!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

Thanks ff
Sold another book last night on Amazon and received Mystery Shopping money in bank this morning so another £18 for cc's. All these small amounts keep adding up.
I've become so obsessed with not spending money that I feel like crying when I get my purse out:eek: How things have changed!!0 -
Arrgh still two weeks until payday. Does anyone else wish their life away so that they can get nearer to a debt free life? I must stop it cos I don't want to get older either

I'm going to do a storecupboard/freezer challenge for the next two weeks and only buy milk/bread/fruit and veg as I only have £20 left in the grocery budget for this month. £10 will go on milk so that leaves £10 for the rest. 101 ways with pasta I feel is the way to do it!!

Hey PF...yup hard when you have only one pay day a month eh! Just had a disasterous DFW shop in tesco..£66!! Thankfully I got home to cheques almost equalling that so it evened out! NEVER shop when hungry! Keep up the good work but be gentle with yourself too eh! Big hugs!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

I got great news today:j :j I'm going to get my full work bonus this year. This means that all the cc's apart from about £300 will be cleared by christmas. I feel like crying. I just need to stick to the payment plan until then and come up with ways to make the other £300. This will mean that I can overpay the Egg loan all year next year and possibly clear it. It goes without saying the debt of gratitude I owe this board and the people on it.:T

Right Target £300 extra by xmas:eek: . I have already accounted for Quidco payments, car boot profit (hopefully £80 when it stops raining!!) and cashing in my £100 premium bond so I need to come up with other ways to get the money. I can't do another job as I work long hours already. I have also just about sold all my good books, cd's on Amazon already.
Ideas:think: Ebay, reduce grocery bill, not have my haircut until December
Haircuts should save me £54 and I have nectar points for £18 worth of shopping. So that will be £72. I have listed 3 things on Ebay however not sure if they will sell yet. £228 to go. Any suggestions
