Hi all
Need to jump back on the DFW wagon!! I have let things slip lately, so as of today I'm back.
Things to do:
A menu plan for the next two weeks
Look for Ebay stuff and list
Restart my spending diary
Stop thinking and start doing
Going to look at my budget again however not sure that I can cut back much more.

I'm keeping this thread going for my own benefit so as not to go back to my old ways.
This week I have started the process of finding an old pension with a company that I used to work for. Who knows if I will get anything but it's worth a try!
Today so far I have been to 3 supermarkets, it's hassle but money saving. I still have some items to list on Ebay tonight and a bit more paperwork filing.
One of my plans for this week is to do a goals list for the next 5 years. I need to have a good think about it as they need to be realistic. Obviously they will include being debt free:D

Well done on continuing your debtbusting, it takes a lot to keep going once the initial adrenalin and determination have waned but good for you for carrying on. You WILL get there in the end and then just think of all that extra money you'll have when you've stopped paying those debts!Proud to have dealt with my debts. Thanks wannasave, I knew I was here for the long haul but sometimes it is hard. I get more pleasure from saving than spending nowadays though:D
Had a good weekend in that i finally received my £50 check from yougov (probably take another 2 years to get the next one!) and I won £42.10 on bingo last night. I had £5 left in an account from ages ago and they emailed me to let me know. I played and played and eventually got up to over £40:j .
Could it be to do with the money plant OH bought me on Friday:rolleyes: there used to be a massive thread on OS about money plants ages ago and whether they improved your fortune of not. Perhaps it needs reviving;)
Right off to update my signature and start the batch cooking for the freezer. Chille, bolognaise and shepherds pie - 3 of each

Hi all
Another payday comes and goes...and I need to have a really tight month again.
Budget done and all money accounted for. I have £25 left for misc. spending.
I have three birthdays this month, two school trips and one haircut. I have still not had my haircut since about august and it looks really messy but this has saved me about £170.
I received £26.80 from a cashback site today and another £40 is due from Quidco at the end of the month. This is all going towards the cc's. I have one item listed on Ebay with 3 watchers and £14.72 due from Amazon.
Meal plan needs to be done at the weekend for the next 4 weeks. I have a budget of £160 for the four of us.

I can't sleep tonight so I thought I'd find and read my old thread.
It's strange re reading it all, I've come a long way. I'm now at just over £18k in debt, at lot less than my starting amount of £45k. It's been hard but I've never given up. It's become a way of life.
-I aim to be debt free by December 2009:j0
