I would like to demonstrate to any member of the public stumbling upon this thread that even though he is clearly a PPC employee with a profitable vested interest in persuading people to pay up (while we have no financial gain in advising otherwise) can see the massive gaping holes in his arguments for themselves, rather than just see us shouting 'troll! troll!'

The more he types, the weaker his arguments become. Let him carry on.

He knows perfectly well what he says is rubbish. That isn't the point. He thrives on disrupting the forum because that's what he came for.

You are preaching to the converted. His game plan is to try and reduce confidence amongst the customers. It won't be as obvious to them as it is to us, because they come here because they do NOT know what the score is!

His objective isn't to win any arguments it is to DISRUPT.

No doubt many of these will get a nasty shock when the court papers arrive. Who will they blame? It could destroy the credability of this site altogether once the media get hold of it. The backdraft would horrific.

Up until there is a vast amount of regular members, all of whom are complaining about receiving these nasty court letters, only then would there be much cause for concern.

As it stands, your back to making assumptions again, so far as I am aware, there is no massive backlog of members who have horrific tales to tell about court dates or looking for someone to blame over the matter.

Most importantly, as you are obviously not aware of the law, i should remind you that this is an open forum, which means pretty much anyone can post on the threads (even people like YOU), rendering the likes of MSE in general (a Money saving website) being the last on anyones list for losing some credibility. The WORST that could happen is a member posting disinformation would gets his\her post deleted, with a possible PPR should they persist.

As it stands to date, aside from your claim to have found ONE post that resorted to losing in court, out of the thousands of posts from those successful wins in court, You have nothing to offer other than comparisons to candy and tax evasion, I think you will need something a little more structured than that to sound even slightly convincing.

Guesswork and assumptions serve no purpose, people like to deal with the facts as they stand, people like to know EXACTLY where they stand on such matters, people will invariably compare other members experiences on matters, that your in a minority (a serious minority) does kind of put you at a disadvantage, your lack of structured facts only serves to lessen your disadvantage-nous.

If he's a law abiding citizen, then presumably he doesn't succumb to unlawful demands of contractual penalties. Maybe he could answer us that?

I have worked in car parks along side PPC people in a car park, and they have genuinly beleieved that the tickets they have issued in a "professional" capacity have been fines for things like overstaying by a few minutes, parking on the wrong place etc with the full back up of the law, and if these fines are not paid then the owner of the vehicle gets a penalty charge notice.

The last one i spoke to i mentioned about the you cant issue penalties this was on a sugestion that we ticket/fine people who park in the disabled spaces with out a badge or block entracnes/exitis, together with an offer for some self ticketing scheme that could be used for temporary events and would help with the car parking.

some of them do geniunly beleive their own employees hype, after all if the truth was well known then they would be wasting their time, and thier job would be meaningless.
in the meanitme thios ppc 'bod' had the surprise of his carrer when a disabled motorist gave us a cake as a token of thanks for helping him find a decent place, and then somewhere to re-charge his wheelchair, this was the first time the ppc bod had been genuinly thanked for car parking:A

This guy is not an employee, he runs one. He comes on regularly using a different identity each time and he isn't here to pass the time of day, his objective is to disrupt the forum and try to undermine confidence in us.

And he succeeded admirably this afternoon. He got exactly what he wanted. Because people gave it to him.

You cannot defeat him in argument because it just offers him the opportunity to start further argument.

His objective is to tell the people who look for help, hey don't bother because we are going to take you to court. And those people as he knows are already nervous and frightened so that is the last thing we need them to see or hear.

We all know it is rubbish, but it isn't about us.

He was given a soap-box to stand on and he made full use of it.

Why on EARTH wasn't he just treated in the one way he cannot handle- IGNORE/REPORT. His last two attempts were thwarted in minutes using that technique. Now, like his previous identity ppeterson, he's made enough posts to look half way genuine.

The advice given on here is to IGNORE PPCs. Let's take our own advice!
