  • Happy anniversary Granny.
You have firmly become one of my firm favourites on mse,i have a few wonderfully supportive friends on here(im sure you know who you all are.I totally understand about not telling people,i have got better the lower my debt has become, but i would have been mortified telling people before. You will get to your goal as you are stronger than you think.mse is a wonderfull tool for being able to open up,in my case its blogging.
Im ok been really busy supporting my dd through her break up as her ex has turned out to be a bit obsesive,we have had tears(from him) flowers, suicide threats and its starting to get to her.I think the corner has been turned and hopefully things will get better.

That was a lovely post and made me a little emotional reading it.

I dont tend to tell people much as they don't understand or as it feels care. Before I found some good friends here we were really struggling one month not long back I had hardly any food in the house 1 tin of beans and some pasta NTO sent me some vouchers for free bread and that kept us going. I have 2 sisters both knew I had no food in, neither even offered to get a loaf of bread!

I have often said to my husband if we won the lottery it would be shared amongst those who have listened let me cry, showed understanding and been our rock(s).

I really feel for your DD as I went through that with my 1st, not so DH, it was awful and coupled with violence as well. I was unable to tell my DM and DF what was happening for many reasons at the time and my DMIL seemed to think it was an OK way to behave. So at the ripe old age of 22, I was dealing with this carp on my own.

Your DD is so lucky to have such a lovely mum to support her and fight her corner.

Thank you for your kind words of support to me too. x

    Love Granny x

    What a wonderful post Grannyx2.

    HAPPY FOUR MONTH ANNIVERSARY .

You have come such a long way, and if building up debt was what you needed to do, in order to keep you and your DC sane and secure at such a horrific time, then it was right for the time, and now you are in a safer place you are sorting it xx.

I love the pictures you post expecially the one with the old ladies pretending to be 16 year olds on the internet and the one above.

That is so me when it comes to meditation !!

Hello, :hello: and welcome. Thank you for the lovely support and glad you enjoy reading. x

And your post has made me very emotional too. NTO is a very special lady and deserves good things to happen to her. Sadly some people would rather hide from the bad things going on in our lives rather than risk offending us or worse still being dragged down with us.

My dream lottery win is to have enough to pay off the debts of those special people on here, (you know who you are hopefully) and have a big big party to celebrate saying "GOODBYE" to our Predators for once and for all.

Well, I've also been known to say that I'll buy a ticket for h3ll boss in the hope that he wins so we all escape his awfulness. :rotfl:
