    Oh Granny

Men we cant live with them cant live without them (or maybe we could all MSE ladies together oh and Mr Bonnington;))

Being a bit naughty and have logged on in the office. Been here since 7.15 and no one else due till about 9.30.

One good thing about your OH doing double shifts is he will be out of your hair and you can have some nice peace and quiet.:D

Hope you enjoy your lie in.

My OH starts nights tonight for 4 nights (all part of Olympic cover) so I will have the bed to myself and no snoring .....bliss.

    Catch up later

Had a lovely day yesterday and it was a NSD too, so only 3 to go to hit my rather ambitious target. Not sure if I'll reach it though with only 4 days of the month to go as today I need some shopping and Tuesday I'm having my hair done again. Would try to avoid shopping til Tues but that's just silly as I'd spend the same amount between the 2 days whatever so may be a day short of my target.

Spent yesterday morning watching things I'd taped on sky+ while OH was in work.

Made a funny soup concoction with squishy veg and although its a bit mushy pea green it tastes rather nice, hot or cold.

For tea I made wild mushroom spelt risotto, which OH refused to eat so I've got for tea again today.

Spent the rest of the afternoon shredding and filled 5 bags of old statements, final demands etc.

Heard back from the solicitors handling my H^lif^x card, have accepted my offer and will now freeze interest. No review date on it but suspect it'll be 3mths first and then maybe settle down to yearly after that. Wrote back asking them to move the payment date by 10 days to fall in line with my pay. Fingers crossed.

Spent the evening until early hours watching Opening ceremony, was really good I thought. Have never watched it before, not really interested in sport but OH wanted to watch it so I did too. I was quite impressed and watched the whole thing, even after OH went to bed as he's up early this am for work.

He didn't work double shift yesterday, instead working shift and a half and is doing the same tomorrow. He's finishing at 2pm today and wants to go for coffee cos "we haven't seen much of each other all week" Ha, well what I have seen has been enough for me due to the mood but at least he seems to have snapped out of that.

He had a £25 charge on his OD this month for going over his limit by £19 for less than a day. He was absolutely fuming and rang to complain, which I was pretty impressed at. He'd normally ask me to do that sort of thing for him. In the end they removed the charge but he really had to fight his corner first. It's his fault it happened as he paid our electric/gas account off in full this month but 3 days before his pay went in. Silly fool should have waited a couple of days, especially as they weren't pressing him for the money.

Anyway, that's it for this morning's update. Sorry it's so long :rotfl: May be back later. Hope you all have a good day

Granny I'm pleased that Grandpa seems to be out of his mood, hope you enjoy the coffee. I think you deserve some cake too!!

New Leaf I thought Macca was awful!:( I thought he would've learnt his lesson after the Jubilee. He needs to hang up his mic now as I'm sure he isn't short of a bob or two.
