Well in work today, with lunch brought in so hoping for a NSD. Work is p^nts, not for any reason other than its too nice to be here and I'm going on leave in 3 days so really can't be ^rsed.

New boss is on leave until day before I come back and old boss doesn't seem to want to do anything more then the essential so in a bit of limbo with some of my files.

After heading off to see clients last week, he's told me not to worry to get my reports done as he probably won't have time to deal with them before he goes on leave next week. His words, "well don't kill yourself, as xxxx, (new boss), can deal with them on his return"

So, fingers crossed, after dealing with one pressing matter, related to urgent horrid cases from last month, I now should have a comfortable run into my leave.

Ha, famous last words I'm sure.

Definitely famous last words, just got home after 11.5hrs in the office and tbh could have stayed longer. Hopefully it will mean I don't have to work on Friday or maybe next Tuesday, (not decided which yet), meant to be on leave for both. However, urgent task needs monitoring and much as colleague offered to help it'll be easier if I do it myself.

Had my NSD so only 4 needed to hit my July target of 20. I'm pleased with me for that.

OH due home in a mo, wonder which head he'll have on tonight, was very grumpy and snappy last night.

    Chat tomorrow.

An eleven and a half hour day is tough, you must be shattered. Hopefully, OH has his loving OH head on and will wait on you hand and foot, or, alternatively, stay out of the way...

I know you said on my diary how I was like you, methinks it very true.:D

We both seem to try to put in too many hours and always pay for it in the end. ( I worked from home Sat and Sun and still haven't completed the job I wanted to).

So for tonight chill, relax and ignore OH if he is being grumpy and make sure you get some rest :A

    Take care
