Oh yes, I have had that one - DH complaining he had to sort out the washing as I told him it had to be dry for the next lot of guests so instead of doing what he usually does: I put washing on when I leave house, he eventually get sup (when washing is finished) looks and moves the strategically placed washing basket as it was in his way when he went to the kitchen and leaves the washing in the machine for the whole day. I get home, empty machine and hang to dry. Of course in that day he will have had time to go to the cinema, or tinker with the car, or play on the computer, or in fact anything else he wants to as "it's really hard working nights" and apparently 3 nights a week at work is more difficult and more stressful than 5 full days and being on call 24/7. !!!!!! I ask you! DH wont get on motorbike as he came off one and banged more than his head, so not sure that idea is a starter for me!Start info Dec11

Wish mine felt the same! He nearly dies, spends 9 weeks in hospital and is currently 13 months into a 3 year recovery process but he still can't say "never again". For now though it's irrelevant as we sold his bike after the accident. However, he used to be the same as your DH before the accident in terms of not helping etc but now he asks what needs doing. Sometimes I have to write him a list bless him because of his memory problems, but at least it gets done!

Granny
I go to work and come home to catch up on your diary and what do I see:rotfl:
Now I know some of you ladies have reading 50 shades but .....
Actually I haven't laughed so much in ages, the bananas really cheered me up after a rotten day in the office.
Glad to hear that you are on the mend and loved the picture in the rain.
Right off to chill out for a bit and get an early night.
Take care all
