Be great if you could accept that F & F.
    All you selling the teddies?

    Take care :)

    Hi Beanie

great to hear from you too.
I’ve now lost another 4.5lbs so still chipping away. Not far off the weight I got to when I went to Oz in 2015 now so feeling pretty proud of myself. Especially as most of my friends are reporting gains during lockdown.

decided against the F&F after all. If they offer it again later in the year I’ll reconsider but for now money is tight so decided not to go for it.

I’ve only charged for a couple of teddies for friends of friends and even then only £2 to cover materials plus £3 for postage of 2. I’ve stopped knitting them for now as I’ve run out of children that I think want them but if any of my friends on here do, please let me know.

    lots of love Granny xx

Thanks honey, you’ve done fantastic too xxx

they are aren’t they, they’ve gone down so well by everyone except DS who is just being a bit of a d1c at the moment and told me the children don’t like them. It made me so sad.

DD loved them though and DGD3 is in love with her range of teddy, sheep and pig so makes up for his attitude.

    Lots of love Granny xx

Another month and today marks 101 days since lockdown started.

i went food shopping for the first time since it all began (with hubby) and hated every second of it. We didn’t get half the things I wanted as hubby was rushing around and the one way system made it difficult to backtrack.

Other than that nothing much else has changed, still chipping away at my weight and making nominal payments to predators

    lots of love Granny xx

Back in local lockdown situation now!
Hubby & I managed to go on holiday in August, had a fantastic time, avoided the crowds by using our balcony (which had its own jacuzzi) and only ventured out for dinner. Just got home before 14 day quarantine was imposed from that destination.
We’re meant to be going back at the end of this month but at the moment I don’t hold out much hope.
I finally reached my 4 stone off today and am now working towards the next stone mark and getting lighter than I was when I came back from Oz 5 years ago.
DD is expecting a little boy in January so I’ve got everything crossed that something changes with Covid situation to allow me to safely travel over to meet him.
DGD3 continues to delight. DS sadly rarely contacts me so I haven’t seen DGD1, DGD2 or DGS1 for ages. I miss them so much (right now we can’t meet up anyway due to local lockdown situation)
Hope all is well with any readers

    lots of love Granny x

Massive update today. I’ve just agreed my final reduced settlement so will be as of Friday 21st May both debt and mortgage free. It’s been a long and bumpy ride but I got there in the end. The final hurdle happening due to a small inheritance

Granny that is fantastic news, I’m so pleased for you. It has been a slog but you did it. Well done on the weight loss too, what an achievement. I hope you get your trip to Australia to see the new baby. X
