Glad you had a nice day x
She is 13 mths next week and can stand on her own, wiggling her bum and waving her arms in the air dancing but refuses to walk unaided. She was even standing half on and half off a cushion earlier dancing but when I called her over, she fell to her knees and crawled. Funny little thing. She has been dancing as soon as she hears music since she was about 4mths old and I now know what people mean when they say someone has been dancing since before they could walk. She loves music of any kind.
Decided not to go for my bath just yet as OH has made noises about watching the balls on the TV tonight so I'll go then.
Hope you have had a good day x

Glad you had a lovely day with DG, like you I think I will have my bath and relax when the footie is on.
When we were away last week DD sent me a you tube clip of DGS taking his first steps with his stroller. (Such a proud nana) Like you I hope he will be walking soon. He is coming to stay first weekend in July so trying to make the house DGS proof lol. Have bought corner covers for the tables, my dad is giving me a child gate next week and the kitchen has a stable door so one way of keeping him away from the kitchen and all the terrors  (for me) that little hands can grab!!
Not really a demented over protective nana (well maybe a little)
Hope you have a good week, dont work too hard and take care

Your DG`s sound so much fun...
Glad you are feeling better, flying back tomorrow and as I have just posted elsewhere a lot of lovely bottles to bring back
Probably wont be around for a bit coz things are going to be rather manic.. DD has ended up with a blood clot on her muscle, which in turn pressed on the nerve... All fine now but that was the cause of the pain.. They have given her a local anaesthetic and will give her a another one this week which should sort her out.... I will bob in and see you again you are a very caring soul....xx

Just a quick post tonight because I'm feeling kind of glum.
Drove into work and someone had stolen my parking space.
Got told in a meeting that the boss from hell is going to be my boss in about 6 weeks time. He actually starts when I return from leave, oh joy aren't I going to be glad to go back to work
Drove home with car hiccuping through the entire 10 mile journey  It's been playing up for a while but seemed to have sorted itself out until today. I'm hoping it was just the fine misty drizzle that made it want to sulk and not something serious.
My dear father has welched on his offer to pay for my car tax this month, leaving me to find £170 that I hadn't bargained on needing. Thereby wiping my DS and DDIL2B wedding fund in one fell swoop
Got home to realise I'd driven off from work leaving my large briefcase of sensitive case work in the basement car park, unattended and accessible to the wrong people :oh carp:
Borrowed OH car to go back to work to rescue it, hoping big boss didn't find it 1st. Drove a mile and then "remembered" putting it in my boot. I never place it in the boot, always in the back seat. !!!!!!. Turned car around, drove home, rescued said case and walked into house feeling really stupid. OH made some witty comment, :lost my sense of humour at that point:
Went to cook my tea, only to discover OH had eaten my planned meal. Ended up eating his concoction which contained too much fat and starchy food but really couldn't be ars3d to cook anything else.
Now off to bed, hoping tomorrow is better. Not sure yet if going away. Client has until midday to confirm. I've got dentist first thing for a root canal filling, :oh joy, another good day to look forward to:
On a plus side had a NSD today.
BFN Gx2 x
Hope the rest of you have had a better day
PS - just noticed this - humph early night for me on Thursday me thinks

Morning NTO, thanks for the hugs and again same back to you. As you said life really can be !!!!!! at times. Hope you feel better today. When do DGDs leave?
Really bothered about boss because I had a run in with him last year and had to report him to big boss. BB told me the news yesterday and also said if he tries heavy handed management again to report it straight to him as he will not tolerate it. That is good to know but he's such a sneaky !!!!!!, he'll make my life h3ll but nothing reportable. He'll look for mistakes constantly until he finds them so he's justified in his complaint. I've worked for someone like him before and it bought me close to a breakdown.
That's the problem with the public sector, they put up with people like him despite knowing his lack of management skills and give him staff to manage. It's making me feel sick just thinking about it. Current boss can be petty but most of the time he's ok.
Gotta go through all my case files now to ensure any problem files are off my desk before change over.
Off to dentist soon, well as long as car isn't still sulking. Speak soon
Take care, love Grannyx2 xTargets

Thank you my lovely. Today not likely to be much better as got to go to dentist for route canal filling  I hate going to the dentist. Then again if car still unwell, will have to cancel and because less than 24hrs notice, will be charged fine.
So fingers crossed car is ok. Off for coffee and then out to find out.
Be back later
